Cotto-champ-good win but needed a catchweight

    Clottey-coming off of a loss

Shane-coming off of a loss and a draw

Jmm-unranked at ww and only fight there was a shut out loss to floyd

    Bradley-unranked at ww-loss

Oscar-glad he beat Oscars ass but he hadnt fought at ww for over a decade

ww run was only glorified in the media but in reality was pathetic and manufactured.. only top ranked ww he fought was at a catchweight

    Terrible compared to who, Floyd?

Pac's Cotto win is better then anything Floyd did at the weight.

The fact that he basically jumped up 4 weight classes from super featherweight and destroyed De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto within a year dwarfs anything Floyd has done in or around the weight.

Clottey was a top ranked WW, and his 'loss' was a controversial decision to a Cotto that a lot of people thought he won.

    Bradley was a robbery.

JMM turned out to be a great matchup, and Pac fought him twice even after having a ton of trouble. If he wasn't a good opponent who should have Pacquiao fought? Ortiz, Berto, Guerrero... am I missing any of the world beaters that Pacquiao avoided? I forgot those are the type of guys Floyd fights.

Pac fought and dominated just about all the best opponents out there, except your guy who was too scared to fight him.

Floyd Mayweather beat the true and real undisputed welterweight champion of the world Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir.

When Floyd Mayweather defeated Oscar, it was at Oscar's full weight of 154lbs wearing 10oz gloves and Oscar was the WBC World Champ.

When Mayweather fought Mosley, Mosely was the WBA world champ

When Mayweather fought Ortiz, he was the WBC World Champ

When Mayweather fought Cotto at 154, Cotto was the Linear Champ and not Canelo because Canelo was handed a title by We Be Chicano Sulaiman beating up on a 147lb bloated Matthew Hatton

    I rest my case!!!

Why don't you list who he actually beat and when and then we'll talk about it. Actually I'll do it for you:

    Baldomir?:patsch
    Mitchell?:patsch
    Judah?:patsch
    Ortiz?:patsch

JMM a lightweight who Floyd cheated on the scale , and elected to fight instead of the WW champ (Mosley) who was calling him out?

Mosley was his best win and he was dead.

Like I said Pac's Cotto win alone is better then anything Floyd did at the weight, and the circumstances of how he dominated the division and the way he did completely trumps it.

Floyd was in that weight class since 2005, and never fought Cotto, Margarito, Mosley when they were at there best / or at all.

Pac jumped up from super featherweight basically and was wiping out Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, and De La Hoya within a year or two. He made Floyd's 5 year run look stupid in less then 2 years.

Who has the best win between the two? Who was at the weight longer? Who stayed active in the division and didn't dip out on fake retirements when it got too hot?

Champions / rank - doesn't really mean **** when the champ is Victor Ortiz or Carlos Baldomir, does it?

Floyd fans like to talk numbers but they don't like to talk about who Floyd actually fought / when and who he elected not to fight.

Is your comparing them purely on there WW resume Floyd's does stack up but thats only because he was at the weight way longer then Pacquiao.

Like I said the fact that Pac, a super featherweight jumped up and wiped out the best fighters in and around there within a few years, some of which Floyd was too scared to fight, makes Floyd's run there look stupid and frankly embarrassing.

I would believe it if you weren't such a flip flop MF. We all know you're the biggest undercover Pacquiao fan.

A catchweight :)roll:) win that still ranks above any other win that's happened at WW since. Well, apart from JMM's knockout of Pacquiao himself, that is.

Cotto was shot to ****, evident by his loss to Clottey after the plastering. Mentally fragile and the manny camp still needs to drain him 2 extra pounds. The Cotto win lost a lot of its luster over time.

Floyd has done the same thing... except he's also taking OSDT so we at least know he's done it cleanly and fairly.

Clottey a top ranked WW coming off a controversial loss. Yet when you mention Cotto you say "Cotto coming off a win". Which is it? It can't be both. Clottey beat Cotto straight up. End of story. Clottey remained a nobody and wasn't even close to being considered ready for a shot with Floyd or even manny for that matter.

Well pac fights people after Floyd fights them. Floyd beat an undefeated Ricky Hatton, a dangerous Mosley, a not far removed from prime DLH at his weight with his choice of gloves. manny beat all of them too, but years later after they had taken more damage, grew older, and become less interested in the sport of boxing.

Bradley was a robbery.Pac fought and dominated just about all the best opponents out there, except your guy who was too scared to fight him.[/QUOTE]

Yes. Floyd is afraid to fight manny. Floyd's cuts need 9 months to heal. Floyd needed an outdoor stadium. If you want to fight Floyd, talk to his promoter. Floyd refused OSDT. :rofl

Yup, Manny's wins at welterweight are trash. Who did he beat? Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, Marquez?

Now Floyd on the other hand, he beat Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, Marquez. Now that's a resume.
