    btw there was a thread about it and I was interested in your opinion......

    who do you think won walcott-louis I? was it a bad decision

    Loved Joe, S (was onea my earliest heroes) but the judges shoulda been wearin' masks and carryin' guns when they robbed Walcott.

    Something I did really respect about cerdan was his class. if you watch his fights, when he knocked out opponents, he picked them right back up and carried them to their corner. he treated tony zale with tremendous amount of respect. there was no trash talk in the man.

    I think he was allready slightly past his best when he fought Zale ,but Zale was over the hill and not the force he had been before the War.If Cerdan had gone to the States earlier he might have become a superstar.
