If PAC does'nt take the 50/50 split, I will be ****ing disappointed, the Filipinos would be disappointed, I think he has earned enough to feed even his future great grand childrens, though he is the draw, Marquez is the champion, PAC started from rags, and I guess he knows where he came from, and aside from boxing, he earns a lot from endorsements, TV shows and movies, he can even retire from boxing now if he wants. Sometimes, when you really want to prove something to yourself and your countrymen, you have to give some to achieve your goal, even when you're on top; I dont want to be remembered and reading threads here in ESB years from now that I ducked a champion because of split percentages; ironically, I dont want to realize too that I should have taken the immediate rematch for 750k instead of the 30k just to lose, which is also one of the setbacks in my career and my haters are using it against me now, both fighters are champions in their own ways, I believe a 50/50 split is fair.
I think the problem with this is that Marquez has unfortunately aged a bit so not the fight it could have been years ago It will still make for decent viewing though. I fancy Marquez to win if he ius 80% what he was, if not Pac will take him out.
it is not going to be an even split. the best jmm could get is probably 40/60 and he should already take it. that will mean 2+M of guaranteed prize money, easily more than 3X his biggest take to date. if this fight doesn't push through it would again be jmm's and nacho's fault. they are just too damn greedy and impatient. they should prove themselves first that they could pull in a crowd before asking for the heavens. pac has already proven that and that's why he's making millions whenever he fights. pac got about 400k for the first barrera fight. got 600k for pac-marquez. then got 1.25M for the first morales fight. 1.75M for the second fight and 3M for the 3rd fight. jmm, on the other hand, got 750k for the barrera fight and now, he immediately wants to get 3-4M for the pac rematch. case of too much, too soon. if only jmm took the 750k for the immediate rematch w/ pac in 2004, he would routinely be making seven figures now just like pac. ah... the bad career choices he has made stunted his career for two years resulting in that forgettable 30k for the john fight. hopefully, he and nacho have learned their lesson and won't make the same mistakes now.
It feels so long away. Should be sooner, not like Pac was in a war against MAB. Then again I suppose both fighters need 8 weeks training and really dont wanna be training over christmas holidays so only logical the fight takes place in March.
Whats the use of you talking about Juarez taking on MAB? he lost to MAB twice!!! Pacman beat MAB twice!!! He also lost to Humberto soto. what's the use and logic if you are telling me Juarez lost :huh however he won over two unknown fighters. Raynaldo Hurtado and Backlin Mecado. TOTALLY UNKOWN FIGHTERS!!!! For the record kindly advise who are the TOP guns which Juarez defeated in his professional career that you could say! Wow! Jaurez is such a good boxer he KO'd or defeated the ffw boxers!!! a) b) c) BUT too bad JMM is better coz Juarez was beaten by JMM. NOW! thats logic for you!
