That's why Roach will be aiming for Pac to do the majority of his work when Floyd is backed up against the ropes. No steps back can be taken there. You can fight your way off, shell up, lay back and counter, or try to slide away to the side. Mayweather normally does the last two options, and while he's very good at them, he can still be caught when in these modes. As with most slick fighters, he's the most vulnerable when he's at the ropes, even if he's excellent at rolling/slipping shots. You just need to attack him in a smart way, rather than jumping in with sloppy hooks like Hatton.
My next question is the straight right hand to the stomach and head, what will Pac do to get away from those shots?
I just hope they get a proper ref who will enforce the rules and it's a fair fight. Floyd hitting and holding, using elbows like he did against Hatton, they gotta rub that **** out. This fight will likely attract the most viewers worldwide since Ali-Foreman. Let's make this one a spectacle and show the world why it's the greatest sport.
PBF will take Pac's left hand away. He has a habit of taking his opponents best weapon away from them.:deal You will be able to count on one hand the amount of flush clean shots Pac hits PBF with. People like you continue to underestimate defense you will learn a hard lesson come March 13th.:deal
PBF is adept at fighting off the ropes he's in full control there. Pac doesn't concern me there because he head hunts he won't go to the body.:deal If he was a body puncher I would have more concern but he isn't.
He didn't take Judah, Mitchells and Corley's left hands away. They just either didn't throw it or didn't throw it enough. Floyd's very hittable against a southpaw.
I'll answer that question for you. He won't. Pac is there to be hit and his offense is his defense. That right there is a major flaw in its own right.
If he's very hittable post his opponents punch connect percentages from those fights and get embarrassed.:deal I dare you.:hi:
That's just it, they didn't throw enough punches (or the right punches). When they did, they had success. Corley stunned Mayweather with a HUGE flush straight left (one of the few that he threw in the fight). Sharba Mitchell knocked Mayweather back with a straight left (one of the only straight lefts he threw). Judah landed a couple flush straight lefts and stunned Mayweather once, and we know how low Judah's activity was.
When Floyd nulifies his power, Pac will be in trouble. I dont see anything else Pac will be able to do. Move to the right, shoot straight right hands to the head and body and when Pac plants his feet to get off power shots either take a step back or move in and clinch and throw short punches.
atsch You just don't get it do you? Don't you realize that you can't throw a lot of punches against PBF. One he's not there to be hit and he's hard to land clean on he doesn't leave you that many openings and two his opponents get hit with a clean counter that they didn't see and didn't like it. It takes you out of your comfort zone when you know when you open up you're going to get caught clean. That's a great way to get Koed.:deal
Excellent point/ PBF will do this all night long. He will counter or beat Pac to the punch and fall in and clinch. Pac can't fight on the inside he will get abused there where PBF will use elbows and walk him into shots all night long.:yep He's gonna play Pac like a drum it's gonna be hilarious.
He's there to be hit against southpaws. I've watched the fights. He stands straight up and uses a traditional defense. He's also unusually aggressive , leading with straight rights hands to the head and body and fighting off the front foot. I see that playing right into Pac's hands. His shoulder roll is an open invitation for straight lefts.
