Tyson weighed 200 at 13? Lmao then he was like the guy of the film benjamin button because he weighed 195 at 17. Tyson was a fat porky kid . Frazier weighed 250 when he was a young boy because he was fat too so what?.
Tyson supposedly benched 275lbs for 10 the first time he worked out as a teen. Marciano wouldn't have done that in his prime.
I believe he could have done some heavy weight training & competed at 200 pounds if he wished but he trained for stamina the extra muscle would have effected his endurance he was satisfied with his punching power and the footage of his fights shows he had 1 punch knockout power
Its approximately what i handle today so NO ****ING BODY will believe that a person(much less a kid) who never touched a weight can do it. It is a total invented bull****
Yes, it is why i made the thread question. If rocky have fought heavier then he would have lost quality in departments where he was great like stamina.
You are completely wrong man. First off, what is the actual *evidence* that Tyson used PEDs? Or did to reach his adult size? Please do not answer cynical, unsupported premises like "everyone did it". That is as irrational as assuming nobody who did not test + ever used PEDs. Cite actual evidence. He was not that much lighter by 13. The first time he benched it was a set with 250 lbs.! He was a poor child with no access to or motivation to try to get PEDs, before D'Amato took him in. You are also incorrect about the potential for lean muscular bodyweight. If you take into account effective training & bone structure, some men can reach Tyson's size naturally-& I have known many. Here is a website that shows a few systems for computing natural potential. Casey Butts (his real name) likely has the best, accounting for bone structure, being bulked with food...You can surf around the articles on the left side, but plug in numbers if you like to see what folks can achieve... Charlieft I heard it was 250-coincidentally referenced it below-& you know I usually *agree* with your knowledge on physical matters. But your logic here does not hold water man. The 275 X 10 bench was also near my old max-I needed a slight decline to hit that! But I assume that you like me only had decent, likely on the high side of average, genetic potential. And perhaps you are lifetime natural like me, not even any creatine... BUT for someone with great genetic potential-especially if they got stronger in part through daily activities such as lifting heavy things in work... You cannot compare a highly unusual natural athlete or just great genetic potential in strength with us basically average guys.
Yes. I am natural, I never did and i will never use any supplement. But I don't mean that Tyson can't move more weight than I do, I mean a teenager without any previous training can't move that weight x10 (unless he's a giant). I speak with bench press professionals daily and powerlifters who handle much more weight than Tyson and even those people weren't able to do that in their early teens. one of them is jesus varela his channel on youtube is bilbo team and his benchpress record is 500.45 pounds (227 kg) weighing him (187 pounds) 85 kg. a total monster and doesn't use roids believe me, just use creatine. so my point is because i know these guys who are definitely stronger than tyson it is why i have serious doubts about it
As per my post if you read it again, I understood you meant what Tyson's potential was, not that you claimed to be stronger... Ah I do not blame you for having serious doubts-it could be overstated/false-though that is distinct from your first statement that it was impossible... Let's look at it with a more granular focus. Those lifters-sure they were stronger than Tyson-& almost certainly juiced-so I can understand your skepticism. And I believe it was 250, not 275 lbs. that Tyson supposedly hit for 10 reps... But think about this: at 13, none of these men would have had the large advantage of having used any PEDs, so the playing field is leveled. Also: they would not have lifted for years, really hard & scientifically-which also accounted for their massive strength *later*. AND: Tyson does not have to have even as much natural potential as these dudes-he just has to have developed EARLIER-especially meaning hit puberty & had high testosterone younger-& have a lot of natural potential. Thus this is a way that-like an adolscent whose growth far outstrips his peers-Tyson *could* have benched more than they did at the same age. Fair enough?
Also, Marciano clearly didn't have Mike frame. He wasn't skinny and I'm sure he'd handle 200 lbs well, but Tyson would never reach healthy 185 lbs in his prime. He was just thicker man than Rocky.
