Oh I met Evander too. At the Ali Center Opening. I was taller. Lewis is his billed height, so was Ali and Norton.

Holyfield was listed as 6'1" in the Olympics before turning pro at 22 years of age. Height listings are usually exaggerated when fighters turn pro.

Tyson was originally listed as 6'0" in his earliest fights before getting downgraded to 5'10" Holyfield started at 6'1" and has went as high as 6'3" and back down to 6'2". It's obvious next to men like Larry Holmes, he isn't as billed.

Regardless, your description of Evander as "skin and bone" is just absurd. Evander could probably carry more weight but not 30 pounds more. Again, it's as crazy as your Marciano can fly example.

And you said Marciano was 5'10.5" when the tale of the tape for two of his biggest fights list him at 5'11".

yes, Maricano was even listed at 5'11.5" I think against Moore.

But we know he was really 5'10.5" and not over 5'11", just like we know Holyfield was really 6'1" and not 6'3"

So if Evander is '6'2.5" than Maricano is 5'11.5"

i never said 30 pounds more, evander could carry 209 pounds perfectly and marciano 190 at highest, so it is around 20 pounds heavier.

also your examples are exagerated and absurd, you posted the pic of a skinny nerd in order to make a point, just laughable. evander was clearly a slim guy at cruiser, he could carry much more musculature. and of course that he was not 6'1

Did BoxRec measure him, so we agree Marciano was between 5'10"-5'11" and Holyfield 6'1"-6'2"? Call it 3 inches taller.

Mutual sparring partner says 160lb Golovkin hits harder than 230lb Povetkin
Yet its hard for some to see 180lb punching power phenom Rocky Marciano beating 220lb contenders?
