You can polish a turd on a daily basis but it's still a turd pal...... "And you are definitely are one of the less articulate?" Thanks for the English lesson. The pot calling the kettle and all that lol! You have some cheek to call me childish and petulant, you are like a stroppy teenager that throws the dummy out when put in your place. Calm your self down and take your meds, you know what happened last time when you when to an airport of all places for a game of handbags at dawn.........
What greater proof needed that the Marcianista is a basement dweller inhabiting a fantasy world of toughguy-ism living vicariously through the clay model he has based somewhat on an actual, long dead fighter.
I haven't needed to calm myself down , I haven't been agitated. I don't worry about a bit of name calling, I gave you your share its all part of the rough and tumble of a forum. However I never resort to sexual remarks like, "sucking him off" ,or insults to some ones family . You do ,it's just the sort of ******ed plum you are. I'm only on one med Revaroxaban a blood thinner ,which I take daily since my DVT and blood clots but thanks for the concern. I didn't get to go to the airport ,that other would be tough guy lost his bottle when I called his bluff after he challenged me. It's been my experience that those that talk the most about toughness usually are not so good at putting it into practice. You don't need an English lesson ,you could do with one on common decency though.
That come from experience pal? Bet with an attitude like that you've been up and down more than a *****'s drawers. You could pick an argument with yourself and still lose. You're right though, it's turning in to a massacre. I don't like to kick a man when he's down, no hard feelings hey.
I've been on the floor a few times it's true to say,but always got up,and only once so disorientated I didnt know WTF I was.In fairness to myself I was only 17/18 and he was a man in his 20's, in the Inskillings as I recall. Its been interesting if not emotional.
I don't, its only the family and sexual references I take exception to.I've been called a lot worse than an old fart and a pillock and I'm not backward in responding in kind.
He also wasn't a particularly high volume puncher I read somewhere too ..... and he missed a great percentage of his punches thrown .... .... should I believe any of this ? All I know is that Marciano hit like a mother****er ! That's the take-home point here.
I think its possible his output wasn't much greater than anyone else's the difference was he threw hard shots all the time, and for 15 rounds. He did miss quite a bit, no one can say he was particularly accurate.I think he fought on the premise he might miss you with 2 but the third one is going to land and hurt like ****.
And you don't think him being inaccurate could effect his ability to score quick knockouts against more defensively skilled fighters? You can have all the power in the world but if you don't land cleanly you're hard pressed to score one punch knockouts.
Yes I definitely do, and I said it in a post a couple of months ago. He relied on wearing them down, Lastarza was a stationary target on the ropes at the end ,so was Moore and Cokkell.Moore said," he got to me by sheer bulldogging and once he got me where he could hit me I was gone." Louis said I was doing okay until my legs went in the 7th round,of course the punishment he shipped earlier caused that.
Yep he wasn't as fast and explosive as a Tyson or a Patterson but his punches were just as devastating when he landed cleanly.
It was the margin that he would sometimes miss by. 3 feet or so it seemed. The press would give him a tough grade. Then again they had 12 years of Joe Louis pinpoint accuracy. Tough act to follow.
