You have the cheek to say I'm using past weight divisions with Charles yet call Spinks a lhvy? GTFOOH!
Of course you could ask yourself, the following questions . Would a 37 years old Louis go 8 rounds with Lewis Would fat Cokkell go 9 rounds with him? 39/40 years old Moore, would he go 9 rounds with Lewis? Would Lastarza go a total of 23 rds? Charles 23rds?
Moore was a terrific light heavyweight puncher, I don't think his power was as devastating at heavyweight.
Nah he was still pretty devastating at heavy, as shown by the heads on his record like Bob Baker, David Whitehurst, Jimmy Bivins and Embrel Davidson He even knocked out "super heavyweights" in 6'6" 233lbs George Parmentier (though Parmentier was a C class fighter at best) amd 6'4" 225lbs Abel Cestac
Due to styles I could see Moore and Lastarza both going the distance with Lennox and maybe even decisioning him. Lennox didn’t exactly fight a ton of clever fighters like Moore and Lastarza. Also, Cockell was very experienced and durable, so it wouldn’t be a shocker for him to go 8 rounds or more with Lennox. The only clever fighter Lennox ever beat was Holyfield, who was way past his prime. Lennox also shamelessly ducked Byrd, dropped his IBF belt, and went on to fight Vitali, who Byrd had already made quit years before.
This. Moore actually earned his title shot with Marciano at heavyweight by beating several top contenders. Nowdays a guy can become champion without beating a single top contender.
Oh I'm sorry! I thought if I was allowing you to bring up wins against shot fighters, I'd at least use my own. Wanna play the fighter in prime game? Lewis's win over Vitali > any Marciano win Deal with it! Also I did what you asked and named 5, now do the same Name 5 prime Heavyweights who Marciano KO'ed that are better than Vitali Klitschko
