    Never been big on Maidana. Hes looked better so far under Garcia though. Still I think Lopes gets the win. Tough fight

    Lopez by UD for me
    I see a similar fight as Lopez vs Ortiz
    Lopez will look to counter while on the ropes with Maidana coming in aggressively, Lopez looks to be a little sharper to me and his bodypunching might trouble maidana

    Yeah I would agree with you IB....Paredes deserves a chance at a top tier WW. Maidana, Soto-Karass, Abregu, Hell...I would rather see Bradley fight Paredes than the ESPN Hyped Russian.

    Such a good fight. Both come to fight. Never knew who Lopez was before Ortiz match but now i eagerly wait his matches.

    Richard just told me it will be on June 8 on Showtime at Home Depot Center and headline a tripleheader. The other fights are not set but that's a really good fight. For what it's worth, he said the fight will be for the WBA's interim 147 title.

    huge fight for both guys. they both beat victor. they both made him quit .

    maidana has been through alot and i hopes he still has the drive in him to really train hard. an his trainer has alot of other fighters so i wander if he really has time to work really hard with maidana just as he does with rios. but garcia to me is a great trainer so i hope thats not the problem. maidana didnt look all that great to me vs soto karass but i didnt realize how good soto karass was untill he took care of aydin like that.

    lopez is coming of a tough loss but i hope now he is fightin at a comfortable weight. i think golden boy should give lopez a softer touch get a little win streak going them get this guy paid i feel like there rushin him and hes not ready yet . but i kno he wants it really bad so maidana mite be fizzled out by this point of his career especially his style of fightin how long can he keep it up 4 ?
