I think he'd destroy Khan early in a rematch. More to do with Khan being shot than him improving though mind.

I think kell brook would show everyone if he was that class above against maidana especially if he controls him unlike khan did. I think it will be an Argentina clash in the future.

I love watchin Maidana fight hes improved alot since the Khan fight, hes added a decent jab to his arsenal which allows him to get his opponent back peddling so he can unload. He cant fight on the back foot though at all which is a huge problem against better boxers.Hes always got that knock out power to get him out of trouble though.I think he would destroy Khan if they ever crossed paths again,I doubt that fight will ever happen.Hes being lined up for the winner of Broner Mallignaggi so should be interesting,he beats both of those guys in my opinion.

it wouldnt be the first time someones punch resistance has well been punched out of them Khan is getting rocked big everytime he fights now

Physcially speed power etc hes fine but his chin and punch resitance are shocking and possibly getting worse

full credit to him for sucking it up and battling on like he does but against a world class puncher like Maidana who was only one punch away from Koing him first time round its not beyond belief that 2nd time round Maindana lands big. If Marcos can grab a belt we might see the fight again

Maybe but to say Khan is shot is not right. Maidana could knock out most guys in this division anyway

Its as might to do with his attuide as well as his chin. Getting into wars with big bangers isn't the smartest tactic in the world. If he keeps on his toes working behind the jab and throwing fast combo's he can win the fight.

Punchers are always fun to watch. Maidana will be fun to watch for as long as hes in the game.

One of the most over rated "punchers" I've seen. As crude as they come.

  9. I love watching him and his technique is much improved
He is streets ahead in ability compared to Alfredo angulo who is another great to watch

But Alexander dominated him and not only outboxed him but outmanned him,he isn't strong enough at 147 after all Lopez is naturally 140 and not a big puncher but hurt him several times
He is best off at 140
Whoever said he is chinny is mental

He was hit in the hip against Lopez, he kept his arms low immediately after to protect it and as a consequence took a shot or two to the head, and against Khan it was a pair of ripping body shots to each side that put him down, so maybe his weakness is to the body, his actual head/chin punch resistance seems ok. I think he's improved since Khan and would love to see them at 140 now, I'd back Maidana.

I don't get why entertaining fighters always get twats like you being negative even after they win.

Crude seems an over used term for any puncher, didn't look Crude when he was landing Clean Power shots On Lopez.

Maidana is one of the most entertaining fighters out there, yeah he is beatable so what?, i;ll rather watch a Maidana fight than a Devon fight for example.

if you don;t like watching maidana fight then there is something wrong with you, maybe you are watching the wrong sport.

Hes been getting hurt by none punchers for ages... that isnt going to do him any favours the bigger punchers are going to murder him. Hes already beaten Maidana using his boxing my concern is when he goes in with a decent puncher who can box as well. Garcia was just patient and looked what happend.... Kahns career is on an edge at world level the Alexander fight is one he could win but any decent punch from Alexander and it could be all over - and he isnt a big puncher

Looked a bit soft at WW, he's still a 140 fighter for me, but he def brings excitement. The Argies always bring on a tear up, Just like Jorge Barrios who was another in yer face monster.
