Surely you don't believe that? Mares was anything but robbed vs Perez (very close fight) and he most certainly did not 'beat the crap out of Agbeko'. The only person hurt in that fight was Mares, and the only beating your boy put on, was with the countless shots he landed to Agbeko's meat and potatoes.
of course Mares deserved to lose. but im sure if Mares has the balls to give him a rematch Agbeko wil be ready.
I am glad i didnt put my bet down in this fight. All of a sudden i became too busy and when i remembered about the fight it was too late to place my bet. I havent seen the whole fight yet just the first 5 rounds and the last 2 rounds along with the interviews. From the first 5 rounds i saw Mares was winning the fight with the help of about 20 low blows. The last 2 he was losing until the bs KD and the 12th hmm was pretty close but Agbeko was more active. This fight so far sounds like it went like i thought minus the low blows. Agbekos is just too adaptable and rough for Mares. Very underrated fighter. Its hard for me to say he was robbed since i didn watch thos middle rounds and from what i understand those are the ones he won clearly but he was cheated by the Ref. This is 2 fights in a row Mares uses low blows. Something has to get done!!!
all in all it was really bad. I mean Mora acted like he did nothing wrong. noone can be that blind to be honest. but I had agbeko winning by a point and the knockdown didnt help. not to mention who knows how much starch he lost from all those low blows. very inconclusive to be honest.
Its funny with all those low blows he didnt seem to lose too much steam at the end. He was fighting with plenty of gas in the tank while Mares seem to be the one wanting to box. I think its pretty obvious Mares just isnt in that level and never will be with his current trainer.
Mares fought dirty, and he's been fighting like this for a while. His sorry ass will be exposed real soon either in a rematch with Agbeko, or by Donaire. Mares early in the fight fought dirty. :deal When I say cleaner. I meant he doesn't throw wide looping punches. But there's nothing clean about Mares low blowing.I knew that Mares was going to nail Agbeko because Joseph has the tendeny to throw wide and when you thro wide he leaves himself so open A LOT.
