    That is NOT how you train your legs. Running doesnt improve leg strength at all, just endurance. And running before training just degrades the quality of the work that you do in the gym.


    Margarito should be running after training, not before. And he better be running steep hills. And for no more than 1 hour at a time.

    Why is this special, you need strong legs or you will be driven back and dropped by punches.

    Seems like some good tips but Margarito is a ****en machine and it works for him I guess.

    Mexijew probably's point is strength-training using compound exercises, i.e., doing heavy squats and leg-presses to have the powerful wheels. Running gives you endurance, yes, but power, nah. :good But this of course is the case if you are one in the belief that strong wheels = more powerful punch. I have seen boxers who had chicken wheels but packed dynamite in their punches, Tim Austin is one. Oscar DELA RENTA is another. :good
