This is the mistake you're making IMO - skill will not dictate the outcome in this fight.

Strengths and weaknesses will dictate the outcome.

Cotto will win this fight and prove what even his detractors here already know and just don't wish to admit to themselves.

that was funny as hell ill give you that but what if both are packing as much power as the other which i know they do, it will come down to who takes the less punishment.

Cotto's defense is not especially good - but the dimension of this that most people don't consider is what happens when Cotto is facing an overly offensive opponent? Cotto seperates his offense and defense, he compartmentalizes. When an opponent is punching Cotto is trying to block, make him miss, or move.

Cotto is not a natural counterpuncher, though he does like to throw counterpunches when he thinks it's safe and/or wise, on occasion. What happens if the opponent never stops punching?

Cotto's output drops signficantly as does his ability to accrue damage.

Really? Having a good chin is a "skill?" Or is that an attribute? :blood

As long as Cotto trains on evading Margo Uppercuts, he's gonna be pretty fine. I don't think Cotto's Chin is his greatest ATTRIBUTE.
