Because Margo is a nobody that's why and can't draw flies to ****. Oscar can put fans in seats and sell PPVs that's why he doesn't have to wait.

    Bull****. :smoke

Cotto punishes the body like nobody else in the division, and Margarito presents too much of a target for Cotto. Its like asking Jordan to put a ball in a 20ft basket, he would do it every time.

****, I cant believe the amount of credit Margo still gets. :-(

Whoever said Margarito has to go to the end of the line after the Williams loss was correct. He did, now he has fought the first of about three tune-ups before he gets a shot at a legit opponent. (Either one of the lesser champions i.e. Cintron, or a famous contender i.e. Mosley)

I think Margarito - Cotto would be a good fight, both guys can dish it out and take it. I dont know why everyone is giving Paul Williams so much hype. The guy is good, he is incredibly tall, but the guy has no punching power for his size! He would get killed by Cotto, or Mosley, or even Margarito if they fought again and he figured him out earlier and cut off the ring better.

Im not impressed by Paul Williams except his work rate, he out works his opponents to get decisions, but he lets people hang around to long for a guy his size! If he lets Cotto hang around he is going to be taking a nap on the canvas! Im actually anxious for Williams -Cintron, this fight could be interesting, another " almost top notch" test for Williams.

I know, this is what I wrote in my post. I realized a long time ago, that boxing is a business. Worthy challengers get shafted all the time because of lack of exposure. Look how long Mayweather had to fight in front of half empty arenas despite his enormous talent.

if margarito hadnt lost to williams, i would critisize cotto for not fighting margarito.... but margarito DID lose, and cotto has scored 2 of his biggest wins of his life this year. on cottos table should be

    Mayweather
    Hatton
    Hoya
    Mosley 2
    Williams
Cintron (yes... marg beat him, but right now cintrons hot... if cotto was smart, take that till someone else does)

Margo did exactly what he needed to do last night -- 1-round, 3-KD destruction of Johnson. That was freaking sick.

Oh, I thought Margo and Miguel always got along and there was no issue between Top Rank Inc fighters or what is the same, that Bob Arum wanted that to happen... So If Margo goes back to the waiting list, are we supposed to believe that Cotto wants the winner of Mayweather-Hatton or Williams-Cintron or none?... Cause Tony couldn't fight Cotto in June since Paul Wlliams and the WBO commission intervened or are we supposed to believe that Miguel Angel didn't know anything about it?... Funny stuff, this runaround!

IT was a scary destruction last night. I am not one of those delusional Margo fans but you gotta give him credit and understand taht a fight with Cotto would be a slugfest taht would go a long time due to both fighters sturdy chins. (and yes i think Cotto has a sturdy chin from what i saw last night) And Margos chin is very well proven so i want to see this fight.

I would rather watch a slugfest like Margarito-Cotto than Mayweather-Cotto. I don't think mayweather will be interessed in fighting Cotto anyway, he will rather fight an easier oponnent so Margarito seems the best option for Cotto right now.
