How do you figure that? Cotto hasn't been cut by legimate punch to his eyes yet. Margarito has, he just got cut by ****ing Cintron by punches. The cuts Cotto had from Urkal, Judah, and Mosley were all headbutt cuts. Headbutt from Urkal who constantly headbutt him, Judah who headbutted him deliberately in the 4th or 5th, and Mosley in the 12th when their heads came together. The only constant Cotto cut is the one in his lip. Meanwhile, Margarito has in his last couple, vs. Clottey swelled up on his face and eyes, vs. Williams the same he had marks on his face, and Cintron he had the cut over his left eye from punches.
Margo wins this,great warrior though Cotto is.Hes too strong, physical and generally a beast for Cotto.Margo always struck me as the guy who wanted this fight more too.
Def stop your nonsense Cotto does'nt cut easy, everytime he has been cut in the face it's been by a headbutt.
Margarito is tough as nails but what does he have over Cotto skills wise? nothing is the answer. One can even make the argument that Cotto is the more powerful puncher.
I think a good comparison of the outcome of this fight is that IMOP very similiar to Andrade against kessler
Nice comparision though Cotto is much more well versed and is a grade above Kessler in the body attack and its benefits.
One can make the same arguements about Cintron over Margo. But what happends in the ring and what happends on paper are 2 different things.
