I think many ppl are being too harsh to Cotto! Although I predicted a Margo TKO atleast he had the balls to fight the guy! And to be honest made him look a little stupid in a few of the early rounds! No shame in loosing, maybe he should have fought a little more before the fight was stopped, but the guy couldnt move the way he had in the early rounds. he had his nose broken and im guessing couldnt breath well (Plus with his punch output he was probably gassed anyway) Fantastic Fight, Cotto doesn't deserve to be called a *****.... I havent posted this on the various other threads but IMO Floyd still beats them both even after those steller performances from both fighters!
I thought Floyd could beat both anyway prior to this fight. Nothing I have seen from either fighter would go against that

Margarito is #1 because he beat the then #1 in Cotto. But he still has Paul Williams running around with a W against him another W, the WBO Welterweight Championship. He should make a rematch for the unified, undisputed welterweight championship against Williams to show that he is better than he was in their first fight. It would also clarify who is the REAL #1.
if he really wanted to quit he would've stayed down after the first knockdown, no one would've said **** if he didn't get up, plus it was his corner who the stopped the fight not him. his face was really messed up at that point and couldn't have done anything to stop the onslaught, give the guy a break, he took his beating like a man.
Cotto's chin didn't betray him, he was still standing. He took a beating that his body was not durable enough to handle. Margo however, who took numerous head snapping shots that might have put other WWs on ***** street looked fine at the end of the fight.
