Your ****ing crazy if you really think that was blood and I would like for you to site a source that states it was blood on the gauze. its not blood, in fact you can look for pictures on Google of Chico Corrales after his win over Castillo and see the same ****ing stain on the wraps, why? because the red dye which is also on the inside of the gloves will stain the fresh gauze thats why. New gloves do stain if your wrapped up with white gauze, I am sorry but I wont sit and argue it out with you, I know what I am talking about.
Narrative of Margarito's trial. "The attorneys then showed him photos (magnified six times larger) as Bray pointed out the This content is protected on the top left corner and showed the substance smeared in the middle of the wrap. The left hand wrap–described as “soiled, dirty with a little spot on it”–remains in the lab for seven to eight weeks before results are in." http://www.myboxingfans.com/2009/02/antonio-margaritos-fate-now-sealed/ Also - the pad taken during the Mosley fight was taken before the fight, before he even put his gloves on. It can't be dye if he never put the glove on.
let me ask you something bro....do you remember when i first posted that picture ??? all the same ***s in here thought i had made it up, mainly cause they know/knew the picture showed nothing more than an old pad......i even remember people clowning me for putting up a fake picture, but now that they know it's real, all of a sudden it somehow fits their argument again...hahaahahhahahaah bunch of ****en clowns
Yup, some started saying that you got that pic from a random guy posting on the L.A. Times forum, and others were even saying you made it . The pad looks like an old pad, nothing less nothing more. I see no plaster, and plaster is VERY visible.
The blood by itself does not mean anything really; but from stuff I read, the stain on the pad was there before the fight began with Shane, so if DNA could show that it is Margarito's blood from a previous fight, they could try to link it to Cotto. I know its a stretch, just what I read. "If DNA tests of the stains on the plaster inserts, which were seized before the Mosley bout, show the stains are Margarito's blood, that would strengthen claims that the inserts were used in earlier fights"
Here's the thing. Plaster was never found. TRACES of calcium and sulphur were, however, calcium and sulphur are found in human sweat, and skin. Traces, means a significantly small amount of a chemical. So they really can't prosecute Margarito on traces. The CSAC can suspend him because they were old used pads that contain those traces, but not because of plaster, and that is why they didn't do it on those basis. Hell the suspension was issued before the extensive lab results. So terefore he didn't even get banned for having calcium and sulphur, but simply because the pads were used.
"License inspector Mike Bray was called to testify and to reiterate what was found on the hand wrapswhich he said looked moist and dirty looking. Recalling what he saw when summoned to the dressing room and first seeing the wrap, I immediately retrieved it. I believe it was an illegal padit needed to be confiscated. I observed what appeared to be a bloodstain. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Truth of the matter is, Margarito was considered guilty in the court of public opinion the minute Lampley broke the news right before the fight. Nothing that happened afterwards did much to convince people either way.
Not sure - here, you can read the artice. There is a part that makes it look like Margarito really didn't know, but the trainer new and was doing it m This content is protected . "Describing the Capetillo’s reaction, Lohuis said, “There was some resistance in the beginning.” And of Margarito’s reaction? ”He offered no resistance or tried to hide anything.” That makes it look like Capetillo knew he had been caught, and that Margarito was unaware of what had happend. Read the article, has a lot of good information. http://www.myboxingfans.com/2009/02/antonio-margaritos-fate-now-sealed/
