You can respect him for that and its fair enough . . . I respected him for that but the moment he pulls this **** he loses my respect . . . May be different from your POV and i respect that

Yeah, maybe. I don't watch boxing because I'm looking for a rolemodel or a father figure in my daily life. Boxing is a business. They're fighting for money. They're not moral heroes outside the ring and shouldn't be expected to be either. The moral significance of their actions is limited to the ring during fights. In the ring Margarito is a better man than Cotto because he doesn't quit. He inspires me morally more than Cotto. That is why I am a fan.

You might think that Margarito is made for Shane then again this is a beyond shot Mosley who is also very old and has stamina issues, Mosley won't be able to keep up movement, speed and activity as he once was at this age especially against a guy who is bigger and will be right infront of him stalking from start to finish. Mosley will most likely take a major beating and get tired by the 5th after the pressure put on him and being forced to stay active in order to bank rounds.

As far as moving up, the fight with Oscar isn't out of the question yet, even though Oscar openly told Margarito to take care of at least ONE loss he had before the fight is signed. Margarito still has question marks surrounding his name with his loss to Williams and nothing is being done about it, DLH always tried to avenge losses, as did Mosley and Williams with Quintana. If Margarito wants the big fights and the big paydays he should do the same, otherwise he shouldn't wonder why no one gives a **** about fighting him when he doesn't give a **** about his own record/image. In conclusion the fights are still out there but not enough Welterweight fights right now as the Mosley fight is off. What Margarito has in plan next is a semi tune up just like Cotto before they clash again and with Mosley out of it who else is left?, only Clottey can be mentioned and as far as I remember Clottey might also be booked to fight someone. Margarito should take advantage of the offers he's getting before it's too late.

I'm actually happy. SSM is still a name, but Margarito doesn't need the old man. Mosley-Berto sounds more intriguing. Hopefully Clottey or The Punisher is next for MArgarito.

At this stage that 2 million looks like easy money, Mosely would get stopped.

Margarito needs to go ahead and fight Williams and get schooled again.

Margo doesn't fear nobody, especially, an old shane. There is nothing, but, a bunch of haters here.

If those news turn out to be more than rumours, gossips and lies, then Tony is definitely not safe that he can beat Shane and is avoiding him... I wouldn't say that the main reason is just business driven cause you have to consider Margo's risks in taking a payday. I definitely would agree that he's not considering his own position back in 2006 against either Shane and Floyd - let's put it this way: Tony skips this one and he loses his greatest line to Shane - the most avoided fighter in the planet.
