The way I see it, this idea can only benefit Pacquiao...he kills two birds with one stone. He proves he's clean, and it puts more pressure on Mayweather...which will in turn bring the bout everyone wants to see that bit closer.

well pac can always do this but it would not put the doubts off from some people who already made up their mind. especially when the one who started all of this (floyd sr.) had came up with another claim that pac could be stopping with all of these a-side meth stuff but he is still benefiting it now.

these kind of minds would just say, pac agreed to it this time only for a show. so it would be wise for pac to agree to to these additional tests only when floyd demands it just to make the fight.

pac has conceded enough that he agreed to floyd's first term. making the pac-margo fight with the same floyd's conditions would be just like floyd-mosley implementing USADA testing... just a show with no real teeth from the commissions themselves.

It is quite extraordinary to me because Floyd is an egomaniac, doesn't matter what he had done prior to the deal with Pac. Sure, it was a bit easier for Floyd to agree to the even split since at the time he saw that Pac had blown up as a superstar in the boxing world. However Floyd has always felt he is better and deserves more than Pac. And now that he has most likely out-matched Pac in terms of PPV sales in 2010, the chances of Pac getting an even split has basically gone down the drain.

I don't know if Floyd is stalling per se. I think he's still upset that Arum rejected him in a very harsh way the first time, so this time around Mayweather basically just ignores him out of spite. But who knows. I wish I can read minds. In any case, we still have the super 6 matches along with a possible PWill-Martinez 2 later this year. Can't really complain too much.

there is a difference between "better testing" and "better testing on a premise of an accusation". and better testing is not always proper. it is better to clean your house everyday but it is not advisable or proper unless you have the time and/or resources to do so.

You're a joke you ******ed ass *******. The drug testing in boxing is inadequate and people like you co-sign this all day long. The very fact that you're against random blood testing tells me everything I need to know about you.

well it's just that this kind of fight would not happen in another 10 or 20 years. two ATG fighters who are at least top 40 on most expert list even if they are not yet retired and still close to their primes. the time to fight is now and not when they are past it. it's just a waste if we would never see this fight and would not want this to become another fantasy fight.

you are generalizing when you said that *******s don't agree to better testing. there's no big party everyday and adapting usda testing to whole of boxing is not advisable. at least make some studies first if it is feasible.

I think they will do what the boxing commission requirements for drug testing.

Boxers were drug tested since long time ago.

I was under the impression that all fights have some sort of drug testing. Can you provide some link to this? I'm really curious as to why there wasn't any testing done at all, regardless of where the venue is.

Nevada State Athletic Commission looked into adding random blood testing to their drug testing standard. After studies done by doctors with ringside experience, blood testing was deemed unneccesary and even potentially dangerous for pro boxers who already stand to lose blood in a fight.

After all their talk about blood testing's safety and the thouroughness and importance of not having a too big window for athletes to cheat, USADA stopped blood testing Floyd and Shane 18 days (ALMOST 3 WEEKS!) before their May 1st fight. This leads me to believe USADA is not that confident of their testing methods safety.

Lastly, the only substance urinalysis cannot detect is HGH. Even if Pac were to use HGH during training, it would show up in a post fight blood test.

Did I even mention false accusations? In your expert testimony, tell us all what drugs can be taken to pass clean on the current standards.
