FLOYD vs MOSLEY fight was definitely a FIXED fight. Mosley was given enough money, it's obvious after Round 2. :hat

    lmao. . .

    IMO the earth is flat.

Jesus is really satan, and Satan is Jesus and the bible was made to trick us all to hell

Hatton wasnt snorting coke, his nose hurt and he was woofing aspirin for a quick relief

and your mother was really a man

see. . i can do what you did. And nothing you say matters because my opinion shits on yours

It's interesting to note, that Freddie Roach wanted NO PARTS of Margo (as an opponent for Pac) before that fight with SSM. He, basically, stated, in an interview prior to that fight, that would be going too far...but wanted to see the outcome of that fight. Now, of course, after a brutal KO, year + layoff, and a lackluster tuneup for Margo, Freddie "the buzzard" Roach starts circling around what appears to be a fresh carcass for Pac-Man to devour. Of course he had to throw a C/W clause in, because, as Freddie puts it in that interview...he wants the other fighter to have to worry about working off the extra weight (paraphrasing).

Unless Pac is retiring after this fight...he CAN'T LOSE. That would be bad for business. So, how do you mitigate that possibility? You either fix his fight or you make sure you choose a vulnerable opponent...or both.

I, personally, think Pac outworks THIS version of Margo ("Master" Freddie is a master of picking the low hanging fruit), but, takes some punishment, in the process. However, the pre-SSM/suspended Margo, probably, lays Pac out like a picnic blanket.

    Pac by UD...

thats the only thing that caught my attention.... everything else is just personal skeptical speculation.

Clottey was held back? When was Clottey EVER an offense monster? You're gonna have to concoct something more fictional to make this fit in your conspiracy theory borne of your personal speculation...

Maybe i should throw out a pseudo-intelligent conspiracy theory that feeds off of other's skepticism in order to be validated. How about Pac take a fall on Margo so there's a rematch? And Arum just milking it out for all its worth?

Nevermind, i couldnt discredit Pacquiao as a fighter.....

really? so you don't think it had ANYTHING to do whatsoever with him attracting a big mexican fan base to Cowboy's stadium and being a former welterweight champion? the appeal of him being a huge opponent for Manny to fight to continue his trend of always seemingly taking another step too far?

or, more importantly, it's all under Top Rank's banner so Bob gets all the money and doesn't have to split it with another promoter?

Agree with everything you said but I think due to accumilation of brain jolting shots,Manny wins via horrible KO. Well see though.

That's proof that they are vultures. The fact Roach didn't want the fight with Margo before Mosley Margo. You do realize that before that fight Margo was lineal champ and Pac had only had one fight against a WW in DLH. This was even before the fight with Hatton. So yeah he didn't want Pac, a fairly untested fighter north of 130, to fight Margarito who was a devastating WW. Its a no **** sherlock thing. You don't go after the best with only 1 fight in a division.

I can appreciate your point. I am aware of the timeline. Not quite sure "it's a no **** sherlock thing", though. When asked about Cotto...Roach said he had not considered it...but w/o hesitation said...YES...

There's a pattern here...if you look hard enough...

I hope you're wrong as I'm rooting for Margarito to pull the upset.
....but you make valid points and the fight may very well go as you've described it.

Pacquiao does have better stamina than Cotto......

......but my hope is for Pacquiao to fight exactly as he did vs Cotto and not listen to Roach to get off the ropes.

Pac is very well suceptible to the crowd environment and getting suckered into a give and take type of brawl.

I'm telling you right now, if Pac does that vs Margarito, Pac is going to eventually get worn down and stopped.

The key for Pac is definitely dicipline. Dont give in to what the crowd wants......and that not going to be easy for Pac to refrain from.

Here is wishing Pac steps up those ring ropes to give the crowd the style fight they wish for!:yep
