Strategically I agree, but it is just wrong to kneeel down before another man, Your honor and Heart take a huge blow... there is nothing worse.
I guess it's how you look at it. :yep If you call it kneeling to the opponent, yeah that makes it sound really bad. I see the knee as more directed at the ref, though. Like "Hey homey, gimme a break here man! Just start up a count, I'll be good to go in a few seconds once these cobwebs clear..."
I agree in that it takes balls to get in the ring and take punches from another professionally trained fighter. So in a sense all boxers have courage. However, psychologically Cintron has never shown any real toughness as he leaped out of the ring from a fight he was winning. Besides Puerto Rican fighters are known more for technique than for being tough as nails pressure fighters... Though Tito was a badass.
THat plaster thing is overblown and not proven. Wasnt even plaster it was little pad on the handwraps. So you what you want about Margo, but i think he has proven that you basically have to kill him in the ring... He took more from Pac than Cotto did, Even when Mosley finished him he was getting slammed repeadetly with Mosleys money shots..Not until about the Zillionth one did he finally wilt... Margo has one of the biggest hearts in Boxing,, In a Holyfield,Gatti,Morales,Ali kind of way.
Until you come to grips with the truth in your first two sentences...we don't even need to talk to each other...no disrespect
Ive seen Margo fight(in person) since he was a teenage prospect and he was crushing good fighters back then... Im sure he hasnt been packing his whole career..And look at the facts it was just a little pad... People act like he had a hand cast under his wraps.
Controversy erupted before the fight when Mosley's trainer, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naazim_Richardson"] This content is protected [/ame], observed that Margarito had a pasty white substance in his handwraps. This content is protected One doctor described this material as plaster hidden in the wrapped hands of Margarito, leading to accusations that he may have been trying to cheat. At Richardson's insistence, California State Inspector Dean Lohuis called for Margarito's hands to be rewrapped. According to Judd Burstein, the attorney for Mosley, Margarito had wet pads in the wrapping. Mosley's doctor, Robert Olvera, likened the material to the type of plaster used to make casts. Burstein said he seized the pad removed from the wrapping and another pad found in Margarito's dressing room. Both were placed in a sealed box that was given to Lohuis for further study. What ever helps you sleep at night :nut.......Sure has looked like **** since his PADS got taken away, wonder if there is a reason???:huh
No its not what ever, is a fact. Looked like **** in a fight huh? I'm sure the stalling of his career had nothing to do with it, and a foght at a weight he had not foght at in yeats. So what?
