I'll agree with you 100% Boon. People like Panama Lewis & Resto are the lowest of the low. Antonio Margarito was never proven to have done anything wrong

This disgraceful miscarriage of justice has been argued to death. Its time to stop it. An honest fighter, who Ive known since 1999, & been ringside at the majority of his fights since, had his good name & career ruined by first a blatant lie about "Plaster Blocks" by Nazim Richardson then by the incompetance or the corruption of the CSAC. You choose which I know my feelings.
The State commission rule Boxing like the Mob & Mafia of the 50's there is nothing anyone can do about it NO ONE polices them. They make & change their own rules to suit their own agendas. The damage has been done nothing can change it now. The sad part is a good fighters name & career were tarnished beyond repair. Now let it die

there was no plaster. he would have been blackballed and probably faced criminal charges had there been any. it was a used piece of gauze the size of a cracker, and just as strong. it was sweaty which is why they found trace chemicals also found in sweat, but not exclusively in plaster.
i find the average fanboy dont care about any of that, they just know margo beat or frightened their favorite so they are gonna ride the loaded gloves train till the wheels come off.

6 months or 2 years, I know it wasn’t a lifetime ban, and that’s ultimately what matters. CA commission messed up big time but will never admit they fell for nazims tactics. Huge reason why I don’t like the guy. I will always back up Tony on this issue because so many people did not like him before he beat Cotto. They didn’t like that he was able to get so far in the sport on what they deem “his limited skill set”. So he wasn’t the most agile or speedy fighter, big deal. He was a throwback who grinded hard in every fight and never stopped coming forward. He was supposed to lose to Cintron, Clottey, Cotto. They laughed when he lost to Santos, at 154. They were terrified when he stepped to Floyd. They wanted him to just go away because he presented a huge matchup problem for Floyd. Tall, volume puncher with incredible stamina who could eat punches like Pac-Man ate white dots. Once he beat Cotto, they had no choice but to respect him because he proved them wrong, again. So when this came up, the opportunity to hate him again sprang up, and they haven’t stopped. They will conveniently excuse and support a self admitted proven cheater over an accused one, while skimming over the facts at the same time presenting childish arguments that aren’t very well thought out. He never ducked anyone and faced all who challenged him.

Normally, they wanna keep Mexicans at the lower weights and AA at the weights of welter and above as the champs. Margo didn't know his place and was too big and threatening to the establishment. So...guess what. Trumped up plaster scandal against an AA fighter. A+B=C, C-B=A. Tadow.

I've spent the last ten years thinking that Margarito was the biggest piece of **** after that Mosley fight. I loved him before that. I bought the whole sports media narrative b.s. hook line and sinker.

CJ slowly made me start doubting myself over the past year...

Now I honestly don't believe a thing they've accused Margarito of. A complete crock.
