Marciano as he existed might not even beat Berbick. There is a reason why all these naturally smaller 190 lb fighters started bulking up to fight real natural 220+lb HWs. Why the hell would a holyfield, a spinks, a jimmy ellis, a david haye, a Roy Jones put the effort in to gain a bunch of muscle if it didnt benefit them? Do you think that with the millions of dollars at stake that they're just gonna do that without knowing for sure that it will benefit them againt the bigger men?
Marciano, as he existed woukd be at a big disadvantage. Had he been born 40 years later he would have probably weighed 205 in the ring and it would be a whole different story and its not the question that was asked.

I think that he would do very well for about as long as Tyson did very well, and then he would start to succumb to the demands that the schedule put upon his body, more than lack of focus or the quality of the opposition.

I agree. I think Rocky beats a few of them but not without taking some punishment before he grinds them down. After 3 or 4 defenses though he may not be the same fighter. His ring odometer would be in triple digits.
