im sick of hearing about demori.. he was signed by king as a great white hope to parade around just like paul briggs was..demori is all talk he is prob just a high paid sparring partner for don kings other top level fighters, in truth demori has only fought sub par oppostion and he has been in active and people are blowin there loads ova him common?... the bloke is nothing... reminds me of a less talented underachieving tommy morrison
It is about 2 years ago since Mark Demori last fought and from memory that was against a Kiwi who was both fat and useless.
The USA thing has failed to come off to date that is true however Mark still has 4 or 5 years left in the game...he's very undamaged goods at this stage. Mark has made his intentions clear that he will be fighting out of Australia for a while and he hopes after enough wins he will get the call for a good fight under Don King Time is on his side....we will see him fight some decent aussie HW's this year
Don King seems to have been about as useful to Demori as he was to the other Aussie's whose careers he's stuffed up.
At this stage that looks to be true however Mark has been in professional world class training environments so he has the benefit of that experience Lets see in 4 weeks who he is fighting next :good
if this true ash he needs to active mate, fight as many times as possible who cares who against, money shouldnt be an issue just stay active
Pretty sure that's his new plan....would have had his first fight away last week....anyway looks like an aussie fight is up next
Demori needs a fight, and it's getting to the point where it doesn't matter who it's against. Yes he probably has got 4 or 5 years left in the game. But he had 6 or 7 years left, and the last 2 appear to have been wasted by a business decision to go with King that has backfired.
Believe me when I say no one knows this better or wants to fight more than Mark right now. And while the last 2 years have not been perfect, training with guys such as Sergio, Lucas Matthysse, Austin Trout etc have taught Mark possibly alot more than he would have learnt with a couple of domestic fights. You will not find a harder working HW in Australia or in most cases the world. Name me another HW who has not fought in 2 years that has continued to train 5 days a week, every single week and I will stop blowing his trumpet
All good positive stuff TT. But fighting and training are two entirely different things, and not fighting for 2 of potentially the peak years of your career amounts to next disastrous IMO.
a thread about a fighter who doesnt fight, not fighting on a card that he was supposed to fight on. confused? dont be. to listen to mark it was don kings fault he was inactive in the last few years. so then mark RES SIGNS (yes i know) with don king.....confused? so now he cant get the bum he signs to fight him, to take a blood test before a fight...and has the fight called off...but he wont fight alex leapai for love nor money. yet he says he wants to go up in rankings....is mark ranked at all? confused? what a ****en soap opera.
