I've just seen footage from ifl of the press conference and I'm now even less interested in this comeback then before. Haye has bascially signed up with a couple of london based marketing experts with no knowledge or background in boxing. The whole set up looks rank amateur. There is no way that those guys are going to be able to do business with sky/Hearn etc so quite how this is going to work out only God knows.
Mark De Mori Seriously, I wouldn have bothered having a presser to announce that, it would have been fine to announce that on Twitter.
i've just googled SB promotions and all that's shown up is a hardressing supplier based in brighton....
Mark De Mori is rated at #8 by the WBA. Thus it should be an easy way to catapult Haye into their top ten without really doing anything. This is why he's doing it, to get a ranking and then be able to 'legitimately' challenge 'other' top ten fighters.
I get a distinct feeling this won't sell out which is good for me as my friend works for a company who have the 02 as a client and then give away the best possible seats for the price of a booking fee. That's how I saw AJ obliterate Bakhtov and Fury vs Hammer for £2.50 a pop.
