I agree 100% Mark - anyone who wants to make accusations like that should have to attach their real nema to it.
Having said that, you may want to get used to it, the way you look basically ensures that this wont be the last time you face an allegation or suspicion.
Anyway, keep up the good work, hope to see you down under in the future

its really a sign of the times isnt it, in the early 90's and even earlier a heavyweight with the physique of Mark was considered fairly normal, most world champs at that stage were in this sort of shape (lennox, tyson, holyfield, morrison etc)

now, anyone that isnt a huge fat ass in the HW division is under suspicion of being on steroids... guys like Mark are a dying breed - he should be applauded for coming in to fights in top shape, the majority of the division is big fat ****s.

Well Holyfield and Morrison were definitely on steroids (which has nothing to with issue at hand).

not sure if you guys aware but their is no drug testing in australian pro boxing i know of, i think it would be great if the anbf could somehow afford to introduce random checks, i usa it depends on the state, i have found some are very relaxed on rules and some are extremely strict.

yeah i heard that was the case, i doubt the ANBF could afford wide spread testing at the moment - maybe in the future if aussie boxing becomes bigger :good

do you get tested when you fight in america?

Thats quite interesting really, you'd think that they'd have it fairly tightly regulated (especially in the states) by now. I mean steroids aren't exactly new now are they. Out of interest you haven't been speaking to anyone about the Tua-Cameron undercard have you? I've heard they have Steve Heremaia fighting against "an aussie with a name - not a superstar but a well known name". Just though you might fit the bill.

And Gonzo - yeah it's sad state of affairs alright. Mind you Mark is still on the bulky side when comparing him to other in shape heavyweights from any era IMO

If there was drug testing in this countries boxing regimen, we may be able to find the facts about Khoders Beard... is it grown hydroponically????

I have heard that before from people in regards to USA.

I agree tho Mark random checks would be the best way to go about in australia rather than check every fight.
You would hope with random tests that every fighter has had at least a couple done over a career in australia.
Also random checks would mean the money paid for these checks to be carried out would be far less rather than after every fight.
Tho i would feel any world title fight in australia should have 1 done.:deal
