Marquez wants the rematch as soon as possible because aside from the age factor when Marquez takes on another opponent aside from Pac there's a risk he'll fall off the radar with an ordinary effort against someone who won't come forward as much.

There's also the question of money. $1.5M had been his highest payday and he won't get anything near that fighting the other top guys at superfeatherweight. He got less than a mil fighting Barrera, and Guzman, Valero, Soto and Barrios combined don't seem to approximate Barrera's fanbase at all!

    i agree.:good

Seems to me that JMM's career is built only around pacquiao. I used to like the guy, but after watching that chance interview he had with pacquiao, i turned sour because i saw him as a pathetic, bitter and ageing fighter aching and hoping to land a big payday against pacquiao, once again..tsk.:-(

He can wait, Plead, beg, request, cry, hope...and sit DOWN and WAIT in the LINE! :D

Naw....PAc fans aren't scared just like Pac isn't scared. They just aren't stupid to think that JMM who prevented the rematch from happening 4 yrs ago deserves anther shot when he's already lost twice.

Basically JMM prolonged a 2nd loss to a guy who he got lucky against by being given a draw. I guess JMM will have to wait for anther career high payday which is all he is looking for IMO. I don't think he really thinks he'll beat PAC unless he KO's him.

It really doesn't matter what kind of fan you are....everyone is in favor of the truth....unfortunately for you accepting the truth is too much. Two losses for JMM is a hard jagged pill to swallow. :| At least JMM has a reason to cry...he was beaten up. What's your excuse?

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl GOD DAMN!!!! THat is a hell of an excuse bro! JMM had 4 yrs to perfect this bogus excuse. It's funny that JMM came out the wood works all the sudden when PAC was gaining popularity and became a star in boxing. Can anyone say "PAYDAY"???

The one problem as you stated is that you gave JMM rounds. Giving rounds to a fighter that doesn't deserve it will most definitely screw up your score card.:good Score a fight based on what happens in the ring not what you want or wish would happen.
