They havent seemed to cause him too many problems in his previous 60 or so fights.

Those who think JMM's going to be destroyed just like that, are in for quite a surprise.

I agree, that fight wasn't a borefest. It was a battle, that was one sided. Manny used his foot and hand speed to his advantage. Manny used his legs to get out of range. When zombie fighter Margarito got close, Manny fired off combos. It was not a competitive fight. It was a mismatch. Manny's speed was too much. I'd much rather see Manny in one fight with a live body, rather than fights with Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. The activity decreases the value of his victories when he's in the ring with guys that are incapable of winning. It's a legally fixed fight.

I think the Pacquiao camp took this fight at 144 in hopes of Marquez looking the same way he looked against Floyd Mayweather. Judging from the image posted in this thread, he looks like a totally different fighter than he did when he fought Mayweather. They seem to be a little concerned about this fight. If they were banking on Marquez being slow, bloated, and unable to match steps with Pacquiao, they may be in for a long night. Marquez will get hit with big shots, but he won't go anywhere. Marquez's ring IQ is still very much a factor coming into this fight. This could be a very long night for Manny Pacquiao, and it's a possibility that Pac Man could take a loss. Marquez is a warrior, a technician, and he always behaves like a fighter.

I hope I'm wrong . I want Pac to enjoy a dominating victory to put this "JMM got robbed twice" nonsense to bed, once and for all.

Im amazed when i read boxing fans who have so little knowledge of fitness and strength training.

They see a little muscle tone when i guy is flexed and in motion and say he looks "HUGE".

JMM should have put on a few pounds of muscle...thats it!! 3-4 lbs is all he needs.

This is a guy who's fight night weight at lightweight is around 145, he weighed something like 148 against Mayweather.

Weigh in at 143/144 and fight somewhere close to 150 and he'll be the same size as Pacquiao.

    Hes not HUGE!

I hear people say that about Floyd when hes not standing next to anyone punching in the mirror, even though his weights have been the same for the past 5 years!

Really. JMM should have insisted on 140lbs, but Pac would have never accepted that...
