both metioned more skilled than maidana ,but maidana has better punch granted but those wide punches would never find a home an like the afore metioned fighters who took him to deep waters ultimatley drowned by presion combination punching

Morales just knocked out an undefeated young lion, Marquez poses no challenge for El Terrible.

Actually Marquez is his own boss at this moment. Arum does'nt have options on Marquez.
Marquez is not obligated to fight for Arum, which means Marquez can go over to GBP and negotiate an Erik Morales fight.

The only problem I could envision is whether GBP would want to make that matchup happen without Marquez commiting himself to them for future fights.

You did'nt think Marquez sold his soul to the Devil himself Bob Arum to land the 3rd Pacquiao fight did you?

Marquez has been there and done that. His prime was waisted contracted to Arum who always put Marquez on the backburner and did'nt seek to land him big fights.
Marquez was not about to make that mistake again with Arum.

Marquez is his own boss now and he is free to negotiate to fight anyone he wishes under any promotional banner.:deal:bbb

bring it on, they both deserve this. I've said it before both these guys were rob of their legitimate 4rth world title and at 140 its for a world title. I give morales much more of a chance than rios, he may have been way past his prime but still I believe if given the right time to train he would still come out good and his experience would play a part

Man it would've been perfect for the May 5th card under Floyd. And to answer the question hell yes.

This would be a good one.. Both are tough and skilled so i guess it will go to a decision.. Morales is not the type to push forward and apply heavy pressure so Marquez would have no problem on counter punching.. But Morales is a smart fighter and we've seen it a lot of times, he's so tricky with the attack and he's got good defense.. This fight will be a close contest..
