As a boxing fan on the night i felt Marquez deserved it. But more due to the fact he was exceeding the odds and boxing amazingly. Objectively scoring it. It was a very close fight that could go ither way.

Are you? Manny was hitting the air. Blow after blow after blow. You do realize that hitting air is not supposed to count as "landed," right? Compubox stats are the equivalent of a Bush admistration paid-for scientist "proving" that global warming is just a myth. "See, we have indisputable proof!"
Whats wrong with compubox? I know its a couple of guys taking down the numbers, and it s not gonna be accurate because they'll miss punches, and boxing has things like partially blicked shots and glancing blows. However it adds an extra indicator to how the fight is going? And 90% of the time its right. The guy landed the more shots is normally winning the fight.
cotto vs mosley compu box says both landed same but mosley through 100 more punches during the fight but he loses a ud why?????? because compu box is a load of rubbish to score fights with!!!!!!!
