Marquez must feel like they ripped his ****in' heart out. What else does he have to do? That said, win on paper or loss on paper, Marquez has cemented himself as one of the greats. He's a boxing legend.
Manny is clearly the aggressor. That impressed the judges. If Marquez wants to take the crown from the champion, he should be the aggressor. Btw, it was nip and tuck until the 9th, but Pacquiao won the last 3 rounds. i expected a knockout, but a win is still a win.
The reality is that a lot of haters watched the fight on some shitty internet stream. They'd never pay for a Pac fight. That's why they can't score the fight clearly.
toprank and HBO use different camera angles in their respective broadcast. In fact i didn't gave too much attention when i watch it again on HBO coz i was expecting the same action but the different angles gave me different perspective of the fight.
Im a big fan of jmm. But he did not press the action in the last rounds.. His body shots are amazing but pac is also tagging him in the chin. Pac is the champ but he's the one who is pressing the action. I think pac won by a point
I watched this fight on primetime with british commentary including khan. Everyone was pro pac before the fight, during the fight they were trying to give pac the close rounds especially khan, but even then everyone had marquez winning quite comfortably. Khan was shocked he said pac needs a knock out.
watch it again, marquez got countered and didnt have an answer to whenever pacquiao threw a punch and move to his right
Have to disagree with you there mate. I honestly have Manny two rounds and cannot see how he won more then three in the fight.
somebody will eventually put up on you tube each round in slow motion where punch will clearly be counted and it's effectivity analyzed. watched it on HBO, scoring by lederman seems fair and i would agree that the best JMM could get is a draw.
