Well I'm POSITIVE that Marquez is no longer the fighter that fought Manny. If he was, he'd destroy Kat in one sided fashion. He's declined since then, the question is by how much?
I dont want to talk bad about Katsidis hes a likable boxer with heart and will but hes getting knockout out! The only chance Katsidis has is to pick up the pace and bring the fight to JMM but even a shot Casamayor was able to KO Katsidis.
Casamayor was behind on the cards and it was more Katsidis' fault than Casamayor's skill that got him the KO.
JMM has been in too many tough fights and at his age, this can catch up to him against any tough opponent. IMO, JMM takes this one but Katsidis is young, strong and will be super hungry!
JMM will win most of the early rounds and look a faster better boxer until Kats starts to find his range and land some shots. Dont know if Kats can put on enough pressure to stop JMM or win on points but I will be cheering for him all the same This will be a bloody war...hope it doesnt get stopped early on cuts
Got to say that I'm feeling a bit nervous for the old warrior. Hats off to him, though; at least he isn't milking an easy retirement. It could be an amazing fight. I guess we'll find out exactly how faded he is or isn't. Heart says JMM, head says Kats at the moment. But I reserve the right to flip-flop on that.
Or like Marquez-Diaz. Marquez' team is genius when it comes to picking up fights. They learned their lessons when they agreed against Floyd and now they are back to their old ways, matching JMM against hopeless pitbulls. This fight will not get JMM anywhere.
I think JMM wins a decision, but it wouldn't surprise me if JMM starts going rapidly downhill after this fight.
