Im not sure about this fight. A major concern for Marquez, his chin. Im not saying he's got a weak chin, but he was floored three times during the first fight, and Barrera knocked him down with a single right hand. However, this weakness also brings out a positive aspect in his make up. Recovery powers. I thought he really outscored Pacquaio after surviving the 1st and 2nd rounds. He boxed very well and picked Pacquaio apart. And he came back very well during the late rounds against Barrera.

I think Marquez has the style to cause Pacquaio problems, no question. He's a better fighter as well IMO. Better balanced across the board. Jab, accuracy, speed, power, defense, equal effectiveness with either hand, combinations, ring generalship.

Pacquaio won't pressure Marquez like he did the first fight. He'll stand off a bit like he did against Barrera in the rematch.

 

IMO, Pacquaio will play into Marquez's hands if he constantly rushes forward looking to take his head off. I'm convinced Pacquaio will hang back for long periods of the fight, become less predictable so to speak.

I actually can see the scenario where PAc abandon his reckless style to be more controlled and deliberate in his offense. Now, the question is, will it be more effective for him against JMM?

In a way, it can lure JMM into attacking him, and in an exchange, I'd favor Pac anytime, with his power and speed.

Though I would prefer Pac attacking and pressuring JMM all through out the fight. He has to utilize his advantages, and make JMM feel his real age.

Thats whats gonna happen to Marquez if he thinks Pac is the same fighter he fought before... the difference is he's not gonna survive this time around.

 

i think that PAC will KO Marquez late in the fight. The way I see it plaing is that JMM would try to outbox PAC but as the fight progresses it is PAC who'll be able to time his shots and hit JMM with flush shots to the head! JMM will have his moments though. Before the fight PAC I tink will be a 3 to 2 favorite.
