the judge who scored it even scored the first round 10-7 for pacquiao instead of 10-6 when it was a clear 10-6 round.
Disagree. It was a close fight. A VERY close fight. Marquez and Pacquiao gave each all they have but I had Pacquiao with a 1 point. KD. Without the ****in KD, the bout would've become a draw.
Stop lying. If you're Filipino you know damn well that as the scores we're being read you were nervous as hell. It could have gone either way without too much controversy. Most feel Marquez won, but they know that it can be argued in Pac's favor as well.
How many created threads did i read about this topic here in esb? Damn.. As always, the fight could have gone either way. but due to pac's 3rd round KD on jmm and the (10th round?) almost-KD again by jmm, the gift went to pac's favor.
It doesnt come down to that tho, it comes down to round by round scoring & JMM won more rds. Ps. I thought Pac did a little more damage in fight 1 solely because of that terrific 1st round but Marquez did most damage in the rematch, he looked as if he was gonna stop Manny in round 8 (I think it was the 8th rd) badly punishing him to the body.
totally agree. i think the misconception that marquez "clearly" won is due to marquez winning some of the middle rounds clearly. but round by round i have pac by 1 point, or a couple of times a draw.
somebody said that Marquez put a boxing clinic on pac the 1st fight, WTF???? i agree marquez was leading in rounds 7-5, but including the KD's and Judging error, Pac won that fight, he had alot of success with his left apart from the last couple of rounds. The second fight was a draw to me, could have gone either way.
Disagree Pacquiao won it by 1 point. I agree with Jose that both were better in the 2nd fight than in the first.
Marquez by 2 points. Pac's face was a mess at the end of that fight. After watching it, I had a bad feeling the rotten judges wouldn't give it to marquez
