    I think Billy Nelson should have pulled the fighter out. Bakole had nothing left and an injured shoulder and could have been seriously hurt. Billy Nelson needs to retire as a trainer, he had his time with Burns but he is past it as a trainer. Well done Hunter very good performance.

    Nelson is no nonsense. Remember he kept Burns in with Beltran with a broken jaw from round 2 IIRC. Like it or not he doesn’t want a shithouse quitting on him with an injured shoulder.

    Oh my goodness. This was a huge step up against a two time Olympian who took rounds off a p4p top 10 fighter but the way he was hyped makes this loss really bad. Wonder where he goes now.

    Bakole was awful. Just went balls to the wall in the first two rounds looking for a KO. Hunter looked exhausted mid rounds and was feeling the shots but Bakole was so wild and inaccurate that it was so easy for Hunter to counter and take the rounds. Also Bakole has no heart. He was pleading with Nelson to let him quit when his shoulder was hurt. I also think he was exaggerating the injury because he was throwing the right no problem in the final round and just high fived someone with both hands in the air.

    He’s a dosser with no balls.

    The point is that if Bakole ended up with brain damage because of that call then there would be hell to pay. Look at Burns since the Beltran fight - completely faded, that fight did him more harm than good. Fighters should be allowed to quit to fight another day, trainers who will leave these fighters once the brain damage sets in shouldn't have the final say. The ref should have stopped it when Bakole clearly didn't want to come back out.
