He is a sensitive little plonker who hops on anyone in the division that isnt matchroom. If AJ PLONKERED ROLY POLY BAKOLE he wouldn't have the stones to admit he backed a loser. Small faction of them on here.
HEAVYWEIGHT divsions. Really expect it to be mr olympia? Your hero has 4 stone of lard on his back. He is a worse state than Ruiz ever was. Tyson looked homeless in his last fight and had more fat than Ruiz ever had. If Fury was 5'11 he would be twice as wide as him as he looks a state at nearly a whole foot taller. May also want to question your obsession with muscular men.
No Bakole didn't run out of gas at all It's not comparable to the Hayes and Thompson fight There was something clearly wrong with Bakole that night Physically or mentally I'm not sure but something wasn't right I was never comfortable with Nelson sending him back out when he clearly didn't want to continue but he knows his fighter I guess Take no credit away from Hunter, he was heading to a points win anyway but like you say, Bakole would splatter him in 2025 Pointless rematch at this stage which helps Bakole in no way at all
Haye was spent. Knackered he was. Exhaustion. Bakole's ticker folded under THE FLOGGING Hunter gave him. Bakole wasn't doing anything to Hunter like what Haye was doing to Thompson. Haye was flogging him and Jam Bakole was getting flogged.
Bakole did look terrible that night but he has never looked anywhere near as bad since Something was wrong but nobody has ever said what was going on
In the eighth round he injured his shoulder and wanted to quit, yet Billy sent him out. The first few rounds he seemed OK, but still getting outboxed. Full fight below, and 35.17 is the between-round exchange, on entering the ring, the commentators highlight Martin could be a little bit lazy, but I see your perspective. Hunter is highly skilled and underrated especially back then, a classy boxer, and you can see why he has only lost to Usyk. This content is protected
Check out the Zurdo v CBS thread and you will see that I look at boxing ability not muscular men. From memory, there was one poster on here who predicted a Ruiz upset but cannot remember the name of the poster.
That's underrating Hunter; I'm watching the fight now. He's a classy boxer; I think he'd have wiped the floor with Whyte, Chisora, et al, especially back then. Someone has mismanaged Hunter's career; how didn't he get a title shot given the run he went on after losing to Usyk? Looks pretty even until round six; at the end of the sixth, Martin started feeling sorry for himself in between rounds. Watched highlights initially, and it looked like he ran out of gas, but watching the full fight tells the real story; he definitely wanted out in the eighth, and Billy sent him out. Maybe he was carrying an injury into the fight like Whyte against Joshua and expected to blast Hunter out in a couple of rounds. Appreciate your insights, though, as it's an inside view.
lmfao Beale top class as always mate! that was a braw comment Just having you on david you've been a good sport and no doubt know your boxing. Great posts mate I don't think ruiz has ever trained in brixton has he?
In your opinion I actually think Anderson is decent and has the opportunity to still do things in the sport
