no d-mac...not martin rogan in my avatar..

thats martin rogan's grandad...doug rogan...he used to be a taxi driver here in sligo many years ago.

he was famous round these parts...any time someone would get into his taxi and tell him where they wanted to go he would always say "are you talkin to me?"

anyway..in answer to your next question....yes, martin rogan is originally from sligo.

I'd be rooting for Rogan ,but Povetkin would brutalize him.

None of those guys are near Povetkin's class.

Rogan would have too much heart for his own good in this one, Povetkin late KO.

Povetkin would batter Rogan. The hype is getting a bit much....why don't we chuck him in with a prime Lewis while we are at it!

Coming from a Sam Peter fan.

How can you call this fat?

If you want to see fat, then look no further than this:

Rogan is a tough brawler but Povetkin is on another planet skill and speed wise. The Russian is a somewhat slow starter, but from round 3 on, it will be target practice as he lands combination after combination on Rogan.

So what if Povetkin is not a big puncher? Neither were Ali and Holmes. He throws 70 punches a round and is very accurate with them. Rogan won't see the final bell.

The gulf in class is massive. A amateur legend, gold medalist against a guy who only started really fighting when he's nearly 40.

I like Rogan, but you have to seperate those feelings from a fighters actual ability and talent.
