Sergio has real talent, It's just that he had fought too many bums. I think he can compete well with those in the list, winning some and losing some, KOing some and getting KOed himself by some.

Martinez loses to every single one of them, bar maybe Watson and Kalambay.

Mike McCallum losing to Martinez? Delete your account noob. :patsch

Martinez is way better than anyone realizes.

Martinez would beat everyone on that list easily NO QUESTION, Martinez is Roy Jones worst nightmare, I definitely see Maravilla putting Jones to sleep

The thing is that while most people now may not know alot of these guys 10 years down the road this MW era will most likely be regarded very highly due to all the talent depending how things unfold.

I wouldn't be suprised if a couple guys don't reach their potential but with Pirog, Golovkin, Lemieux, Korobov, N'jikam, Lara, Guerrero, Geale, Barker, Jacobs, Kirkland, Angulo along with Pavlik, Williams and Martinez still around it's a hell of alot of talent.

NOOB:patsch You better ask somebody MOF... YOu ever wanna know anything bout boxing pay attention to my posts.... Why are you saying he whups Kalamby but the extreme oppoite on Mccallum? kalamby beat Mccallum and the one Mike did get it was controversial... Mccallum was a great fighter but he wasnt unbeateable....You wish you knew 10% about Boxing as me :bart You think Graham beats him? Graham was a helluva a talent but choked against every big name he fought, eventually hed wilt and wouldnt hold up under Martinez heat... Benn at MW? He was very dangerous early but at mw he didnt show much after the mid rounds.... By the way how many of these guys did you see fight back in the days? OR are you from the you tube generation?

Have to agree the Middleweight division has some real exciting prospects, but when are most of these going to fight each other,to many Bull sh*t divisions now and they seem to avoid each other, can not wait for the likes of Golovkin and Lemieux to fight some of these Big names,we will see how good there Chins are.!!!!

This is a very strong group of Middleweights. Looking at this list I'm starting to think the 90's middleweights are underrated.
    Roy Jones
    James Toney
    Bernard Hopkins
    Mike Mcallum
    Chris Eubank
    Nigel Benn
    Michael Watson
    Michael Nunn
    Gerald Mclellan
    Sumbu Kalambay
    Bomber Graham
    Julian Jackson

You actually made some good points Mccellan did have a good chin, but the Jackson fights ended early and he was eventually stopped by Benn(what a war)... However Mccellan did tend to not be as effective later on in the fight and could be frustrated by cagey boxers after the early rounds (see Dennis Milton, Sanderline Williams,Ralph Ward),,,, Martinez has great stamina and would be throwing hard shots all night, so a Tko is not out of question.... Styles make fights, Martinez couldnt hit near as hard as Jackson or Benn for that matter.. But those guys were pure sluggers nothing slick about those guys... Where as Martinez is slick,Cagey and punches hard... If he made it past the early rounds hed be hitting Mccellan from all angles with punches hes not gonna see(A big Martinez strength).... Like i said earlier if you paid attention to my posts..IMO more times than not Mccellan gets him early but i like Martinez after, wheter its on points or by late stoppage.

Actually Nunns days were over at mw by 91 and so was Watsons and Graham shortly after, even Kalamby best days were before this.... Should have thrown Reggie Johnson,Jorge Castro as those guys were more 90s mws.
