Martinez is boring and is not elite

You need to stop watching boxing. You just now started watching if all you can bring up is Floyd's last fight with Ortiz and claim the knock out of a guy with his hands at his waist as something worth while. How about his performance with Baldo and Zab. Instead of taking out guys he clearly outclass he pitty pat to a decision.

You hate on another boxer for doing the same **** another fighter does. Clowning around? Tell that to guys he has been KOing that he's just clowning around.

 

What fight were you watching it was nowhere close to domination until Sergio pulled away at the end.

 

He's probably not as stupid as Victor Ortiz, who I think goes down as the most unintelligent boxer in the sport today.

It wasn't flashy but Martinez was in control of the fight the entire time. A questionable KD is the only reason Macklin was even in the fight.

 

Sergio beat the champ there and now he's the actual champ. Bradley should be the lineal champ, but he's not. Then Sergio has beaten a p4p rated fighter.

Sergio's fighting legit top 15 MW's, top 10 in Macklins case and he's winning with ease......not everyone destroys every opponent who isn't elite like Bute or Pacman

Look at Marquez struggle with the like of Katsidis and Baby Bull or Donaire fail to impress vs Narvaez and Vazquez or Ward stink up the joint vs Bika.... there's a million examples of so called top p4p guys struggling with dudes they clearly rank levels above. Macklin and Barker both fought a negative fight that makes it hard for anyone to look good against and they're both very good fighters just shy of championship level.... I'd love to see Macklin vs JCC Jr, he already proved he can hang by arguably beating Sturm.

 

You really think Sergio is in a division that's bigger than he is? did you see his body at 147 vs Margarito? Now do you see his body now at 160? Dude Sergio's body has adapted into the 160lb division naturally, do you see how wide his structure is? not everything is height some people just naturally float into a higher division without any troubles over the years.

Hagler wasn't tall at all yet look at how bulky and wide his physical structure was, while tito almost 6'0 tall looked like f****ng Majin buu everytime he went over 160!

Sergio's physique is definately superior in size to May and Cotto. thats Bull! its like Power lifters, you see short power lifters compete with way taller guys but look at the shorter guys, wide as damm mack truck!

BACK TO BOXING..... these haters on Martinez who claim Gamboa or Bradley should be rated higher clearly do not know boxing.... Martinez beat P Will who was p4p #4 or 5 at the time.. way bigger win than Gamboa or Bradley have had in their careers thus far... Gamboa has beaten Salido, PDL, and Solis.. but that's it.... Bradley has Alexander, Peterson and Witter.... Martinez has P Will, Pavlik, Cintron, Macklin (who is a top five MW according to ring and espn) and Dzinriuk....... so how can you fault people for putting Martinez ahead of those guys?????? Is it that hard to believe... or are you just that much of haterzzz??? THe only argument I understand is putting Ward ahead of Martinez because Ward has clearly dominated all he has been in the ring with including Kessler and Froch... so I can understand that argument.

 

Hes not boring just an off night and for an off night he blasted Macklin

smart fight for Martinez, he struggled early because Macklin was passive and mobile and played defense

once Macklin fell behind on the cards he was forced to get desperate though he was winning the 11th i felt, he was so open unlike early on and him opening in desperation led to his downfall

Next up I wanna see Sturm
