:patsch What the **** are you saying guy?

If Floyd WANTED this fight, it would have been done, period. A Martinez/Mayweather fight would bring in WAY more money than a Victor Ortiz fight and most likely more than the Cotto fight, not to mention as far as a legacy builder goes, a win over Martinez would be looked upon more highly than those other two and probably more highly than any other fight for him right now besides Pac.

So why hasn't the fight happened yet? Martinez has blatantly stated this is the fight he wants. Which goes back to my original point - that you seem to be too inept to comprehend: Floyd wants to make as much money as he possibly can and wants to be regarded/thought of/viewed as the GOAT. A win over Martinez would impact both of those factors immensely. So why hasn't it happened? Probably because Floyd KNOWS he would get ****ing worked. Martinez has been calling for this fight for a long time, but it takes two to tango, chief.

People need to cut the BS.
No one is running away from Sergio, he is trying to cash out since Pavlik. Sad part is that JCC Jr. is going to be the 2nd MW he actually fought worth a damn.

When you get outboxed by ****ing Barker and Macklin you have to realize this guy isn't who you think he is.

To be honest Floyd knows, Martinez is in another level than his previous opponents, Cotto, Ortiz, Mosley. If the fight did happen at 154 or at 160, May gets stopped withing 7 or 10. Now if May waits another 3 years then yes Martinez might be too gone by then, the fight would be meaningless.
