I wouldn't call him a full blown Middleweight. He is small for the weight and would still have no problem making 154 lbs.

mayweather picks on small guys half of his career...and sergio calls out 2 guys that owned 154 pound titles.... mayweather fought marquez who was on paper 2 divisions below him but in reality 4 divisions......but thats ok on this fanboy thread

How many fighters has Mayweather actually outweighed in the ring? Maybe Marquez, Hatton/Ortiz were both bigger on fight night. DLH, Castillo, Corrales, Gatti, Baldomir had shedloads of weight on him

Can't blame Sergio.... He's the only one in position at MW who has the chance to win one of the 2 lottery tickets in boxing.... Floyd and/or Pac. Nard did it with DLH and Tito. At this age Sergio is looking to make some real money and win, lose or draw on fight with either will set him up real nice....with the potential to get a rematch. Plus his stock rises. I feel what Martinez is getting at. But agree that he's a big guy calling out little guys......but they are exceptional little guys.

Because he's short, Hatton was 155 in the ring, Mayweather gained only a couple of pounds. Hatton started his career at 140lbs, Mayweather at 130lbs

Martinez has 37 years old .... and he relies most on his athletic abilities ... but now with his age advancing these abilities won't last too much ..... so he tries to have a big fight with Mayweather / Pacquiao (a big payday ). At 154 pounds Martinez isn't a big dude for Mayweather ..... not at all .... indeed , it would be awesome to see a fight between Kessler and Martinez , at 165 ponds cw ..... but money talks.

Calling out the biggest money fights for him who also happen to be higher in the P4P rankings.. Such a big surprise.

Neither Pac nor Floyd would lose face ignoring Sergio so I don't really see the problem. If they are up for the challenge great. If not, no big deal for not moving up yet again.

No he ****ing did not. Tito was a full blown middleweight who had previously SHINED at middleweight, and who only went UP in weight after that fight and both Tito and Oscar came knocking on Bernard's door. Nard didn't refuse to fight middleweights until he could find a welterweight to fight.

Sergio doesn't want to fight any 154 fighters but wants to call out 147 guys. LOL. He is an embarassment, especially in his blatant ignoring of Pirog.

Hopkins was calling out Oscar while he was still at 154 constantly.

True.....I was going to mention Tito was a MW who participated in a great MW tournament but I think Nard was still naturally a bigger man. Tito had great power he carried up with him to 160 but he was mostly a Welter Weight the majority of his career. Nard started looking for the REALLY big names when Tito moved up to his division where he was also calling for DLH.

bernie and brooradly. #1 rated sergio haters haha

    check this out

some people say martinez should fight Bute. I've seen it a lot. if that fight gets made, you all will be ok with Bute fighting sergio? Bute is huge, he belongs at light heavy.

    double standart

Why are you even asking? That fight isn't going to happen #1, and #2 there isn't nearly as big a size disparity between Bute and Sexio as there is between Pac and Sexio. You just made your man look like even more of a *****.
