Yes, there will be a rematch, the clause forces the rematch.

If that's true, he certainly wouldn't be in a small boat as far as that goes, I guess. I do wonder what he'd be capable of if he got in there with a Pavlik or Abraham. Although I wouldn't really favor him, I'd be curious.

I don't think his people will allow him to take the rematch. They might prefer to move up or go after Williams.

A rematch with PW is interesting. Martinez has already made a name for himself by beating Pavlik. PW will not automatically get the close rounds the next time they fight.

He has to take care of mandatories first.

BS. I like Ghevor a lot but he lost that fight. Ineffective aggression is not what wins you a fight. Sturm showed better defence and landed more, cleaner and even harder punches. Most of Ghevor´s punches just did not land. I scored it 116-111 for Sturm and I cheered for Khoren.

Since he won his title back from Castillejo, Sturm follows the pattern of fighting one good fighter and than an easy one. Castillejo than an easy one in Alcoba, mandatory Griffin than an easy one against Pittman, rematch Griffin to settle the score and than another hard fight against current IBF champ Sylvester, than an easy one against Sajto than Ghevor. He has the best resume of all the mws out there bar Martinez perhaps.

Not true, he always talked about wanting to fight Taylor, Abraham and later Pavlik. His promoter did not want those fights. Universum always goes the safety first way, they pay now with their TV contract for it.

I always thought he could give problems to Abraham. If he would use more movement than he does normally, which he certainly can, and instead of using the high guard would use using more lateral movement he would even be able to beat him. But well, we probably never know. Stuem has no problem with the mw limit and would be small at smw.
I always thought Sturm´s jab, hand speed and movement would do well against Pavlik but his habbit of standin right in front of his opponent with his hands up when under pressure would spell trouble and lead to him getting knocked out.
