    It doesnt make sense though, Floyd is the most calculating person in boxing, and he cares more about his 0 than he does about money.
    Why risk it vs a more dangerous fighter for way less money than vs pac at 147?
    He isnt very concerned about chasing legacy so who sergio over pac?
    If it really does happen I will give him full credit and think he is very brave, much braver than I thought he was. Its a great match up and taking on martinez as a ww shows balls, especially if you dont have to.
    I never thought it was a realistic match up so im still very sceptic about it happening.

    IMO i think PBF doesn't think its a risk! The man has Elite Skills in the ring! It would be alot harder to game plan against PBF than it is to Game against say... Pavlik, Paul Williams. Which people still for get Pavlik was winning the fight after 8 rds but no one gives him credit!

    PBF/SERGIO= Great fight!:good

    Yeah sure, but martinez is a southpaw, he strong, slick, and much bigger.
    I can see floyd win the fight allthough I dont favour him in it.
    And when it comes to ppv he will carry the biggest share like vs ortiz, even if does 1.5 mil, fighting pac or even khan are still smarter options and more logical choices you would expect from Floyd, Sergio isnt.

    I agree its smarter to fight The Smaller guys in KHAN and PAC. WHich PBF whoops Khan Bad, and Pac fight would be tough for both men. Serio vs PBF PPV buys would be HUGE! DO it a Cowboy Stadium! Or MSG. I favor PBF at 150 but Sergio at 154. It would get Sergio the Exposure he deserves and the money he deserves!

    Personally I think Floyd will have a lot of trouble dealing with the combination of speed/size/southpaw/and activity that Sergio brings. Pavlik is a lot bigger and his size and reach alone was going to be a problem for Sergio, and Pavlik isnt a bad fighter either.

    I see this as a clear win for Martinez

    Sergio definitely deserves a payday, I just have difficulty believing it would actually happen vs pbf off all people.
    Guess im going to be patient on this.

    Pac = Gazillion of money
    Sergio = 20-50 million

    Pac = Winnable
    Sergio = Have to go life and death to win

    Pac = Will elevate your ATG by a lot
    Sergio = Not as much as a PAC win

    Floyd = A known ducker. Probably top 3 in the all-time ducker's list
    Floyd "Legacy doesn't pay bills"

    Now tell me, why would Floyd fight Sergio when he can't even fight a midge? :patsch:patsch:dead:dead

  12. so floyd would be a ***** for fight'n a guy Arum will not let Pac anywhere near him???:?:nono

    Its a great fight but has the potential to mean a lot more depending on the weight they agree on.

    Let's look at this post.

    In Pac's case, as you said, Arum would not be letting Pac anywhere near him. Who's the one not letting Floyd anywhere near Martinez? Seeing as HE calls his own shots.

    You probably don't realize what you said. :D
