    Who - Marvin Hagler
    How - 1st round knockout
Why - Harry Greb is actually a figment of our collective imaginations.

Greb with modern training, nutrition etc would mop the floor with every MW ever.
You don't fight LhWs if you are not good.

It's unknowable. Hagler was a certified badass but Greb has probably got the GOAT resume. We've seen Hagler in action and he's formidable indeed but we haven't seen Greb. By all accounts his style was somewhat unique and therefore it becomes hard to do an analysis. What I can say is the Greb fought up to heavyweight and therefore he ought to handle Hagler's power well. But this is a matchup that hinges off the style mesh and ultimately unknowable unless we had footage.

    Hi Buddy.
Quite a lot of times on here posters say " with modern, etc, etc, " Greb wouldn't have needed modern training, nutrition, and I suspect many of his contemporaries would be the same, he, for one thing, didn't have time to train, and why would he need to, his " training " was his actual fights, I am sure you know all about the amount of fights he had, and the 40 plus in one year alone, if he can fight and beat LHWs and HWs as he did often, ATGs at that, I am not sure how much greater he could be with what you suggest.
    just my opinion...

Greb. I can't see Hagler out pointing him or taking him out.

From what I've read about Greb I'm thinking his style and Aaron Pryors are similar

“The Smoke City Wildcat” fought smarter, bigger, tougher and even overall better fighters then Marvellous Marvin Hagler multiple times. You might be asking some people here if Marvin Hagler could beat the greatest boxer to ever live. I don’t think he can. Harry Greb would’ve been more inventor than copy cat he was so, so experienced.

How about Mickey Walker? I haven’t read much on Harry Grebs fighting style personally, just asking.

Marvins best wins cannot compare to Grebs and Grebs fought heavier men many times. Plus Marvin wasnt exactly the most cerebral and Greb totally confuses him and Marvin takes a beating.
