    Lmao. Hagler was a smallish mw he is very small compared with hopkins,monzón etc even at 160 he was packed of muscle, at 170 he would look a beach ball. Canelo has bigger frame than Hagler,wider.

    Hagler would not fight at Welterweight now ffs ..what a bizarre statement .Out of all the things that you could take from Haglers career ,one of the best ever ,you say that an atg Middleweight with about 70 fights and 65 kos would now fight 2 weights below...Its the maddest thing ive read on here....Why stop at Welterweight ,why not have him fighting at 140 ?

    You are confusing genuine middleweights with weight bullies who i love getting found out ....

    Hagler was slightly taller than Canelo and has a 5 inch longer reach which literally mean Hagler is 100 % wider than Canelo

    Dumbest and most ridiculous argument ever. Thomas hearns or Bob Foster were much taller than Tua ,Frazier and Tyson with a much longer reach.. But were they wider?.
    Canelo has a more robust frame,his legs are thicker,his neck is thicker and his thorax is more robust.
    I don't know why did i post out of the classic forum... Only casual fans ridiculous kids here

    Hagler was a natural 160 pounder but TODAY. the guys who fight in the middleweight division are drained 175 pounders making 160, but the day of the fight they are 175 again.
    Hagler could fight in the 147 or 154 divisions easily if he was weighed 1 day before of the fight, taking in count that in his era he made 157 sometimes it is very plausible and not a crazy idea

    I know hagler wasn't that big. He managed ok though didn't he? But there have always been big middleweights. Monzon was tall, about six feet and hagler fought fully obel and kod him. Hopkins was huge too, Barkley was huge. Hurd is huge at 154 today. Bottom line is all boxers operate within the weigh in rules of their era. Being huge was no great advantage when there was same day weigh ins. GGG is a very average sized middleweight and he had no trouble koing his opponents.
    Canelo isn't huge, he seems to have had a "chemical advantage" to bulk up which makes him look thick and bulky and big but Canelo isn't bigger than hagler.
    Based on photosHphotos of them togetheritogether Marvin is the same height as sugar Ray Leonard and canelo is the same height as Mayweather.

    I loved it when Hurd finally got what was coming to him....

    I am all for the IBF 10lb next day limit .....What is the point of a fighter making the weight for 10 seconds of the year...I heard that is why Callum Smith fights so rarely ..I get why same day weigh-ins were stopped but is it any safer now when someone is fighting a weight bully 15 pounds heavier

    Chris Eubank used to make 160/168 but sucking on frozen grapes and then only having the energy to fight for 30 seconds a round....At the end of his career he had to try 3 times to make the cruiserweight limit..Its all wrong
