GGG is too good. Lower weight fighters aren't moving up from lightweight or welter to meet him as they did for Hagler in the case of Duran, Leonard, and Hearns.

Do you think Mayweather would ever fight GGG? How about Cotto?
    NOT A CHANCE.

Hagler a top 5 ATG at middle declined to move up to light heavyweight by the way.

Hagler's main legacy is beating Duran ( a blown up lightweight ) and Hearns ( a blow-up welterweight. While each guy was an ATG in a lower weight class, neither were at middleweight, which was Hagler's natural weight class.

Hagler lost to Leonard ( who was best at Welter ) Outside of that his competition was rather ordinary, just like GGG's.

The difference is GGG is blowing away his competition, and guys are avoiding him. It's not like Mayweather, Kahn, or Canelo wants anything to do with GGG!

If he fought them all he's go 3-0, and win more impressively than Hagler did vs Duran.

    # the Truth.

Hagler without the others would still be a legend I grew up watching him beat up my British heroes the press always said that they would win (yeah right!)very upsetting watching some nasty bald headed American battering your plucky British types.hagler feared no one and made sure people knew it .at the time he was a household name my granny knew who he was and that he was Horrible! .there was no doubting who was the top dog at middle he had a rein of terror for years and people tried to avoid him .I rate GGG as a very good fighter and he is the main man at middle if he carries on his title rein could match marvins .we shall see.

    I actually agree in part.

    a. Hearns at 160lbs = ELITE but not one of the TBE's from his 147-154lb days.
    b. Leonard-Hearns is a fight of fallen greats, an even fight. It's a good legacy fight but Leonard of that fight was no longer one of the TBE's.
    c. Hamsho, Roldan and Obelmejias were good, not 'very good'.
    d. Minter was 'very good'. Duran we'd say is 'good', certainly not anywhere near great at MW.

So, that's two elite wins, 1 very good win, a host of good wins.

His greatness comes from a combination of:
    1. Fab Four
    2. How amazing he was against mostly good but not great opposition.

Golovkin most probably won't be anywhere near as great as Hagler because Golovkin won't really have elite wins. I don't consider Canelo an 'elite' win.

So taking ONE name from their resumes equals taking 3 from his Resume? How does that make sense?
