From a technical standpoint, you can’t go wrong with either Sibson or Scypion, and I chose Scypion.

Thomas Hearns. That fight was kill or be killed and Hagler pulled it off! He went right into the eye of the storm!!

Hearns. Hagler fought the perfect fight. He immediately cut the ring off, jumped on Tommy, knew he was going to have to weather a bomb to get inside and did it. When he was cut, he did what he had to and ended it quickly. That fight could have been a disaster had he not handled it right.
I don't rank Sibson and Obel because those were fights where there was no threat involved, (obviously he was a few years younger and probably closer to his peak, but I'm going by other factors).

Honestly Hagler was just a consistent guy, good boxer, he could overthink things but really not many of his fights did I enjoy that much he was just “eh” an all rounder you could learn a lot from but he wasn’t Ray Robinson or anything more like a Monzon/Griffith type.

After the first round it wasn’t competitive, I think that fights been oversold. Round 1 was really good though.

Hearns broke his right hand in the first round, and that isn't good, especially against a bleeding Hagler. Most other middleweights would have been out cold in the first round vs Hearns that night, he was electric.
