How many times have we seen fighters offer that after a fight and it dont happen. It aint done to Sturm, lets see what his promoter thinks.
Gutted for Matt, I thought he won. Matt vastly outworked Sturm and controlled the pace of the bout, throwing one or two nice combinations/shots a round does not warrant giving a round to a fighter in my books when the other guy has been throwing and landing shots (not same force or quality) fairly consistently for the rest of the round.
Great fight, i don't think it was a robbery because that's how it goes in Germany and let's face it, Mackin would have gotten the decision in Engand
i scored it as if i was a fan of sturm and had it 115 115. when in reality matt won by 2 rounds. for 2 judges to hav it by 4 to sturm is just wrong.
