    It's all good

Good analysis of Harada by the way. I like the dude, he's not the most talented swarmer to ever live but he had great skills and plenty of heart, I think he's the Japanese ideal of "boxer". I watched Jofre-Harada on youtube the other day, pretty epic.

It's the bursts of energy which are key for him imo, and he can sustain them as well.

He's an interesting swarmer in that regard, hard to tell whether he's gonna sit back and lurk a little bit or come out roaring.

Where do you think he lacks talent?

When I said, not the MOST talented swarmer i meant it literally, not taking anything away from harada. He isn't the hardest hitting fighter out there, for example.

Just thought it was an odd thing to say, as it is not really critisism or praise, just a pure fact that dosent really mean anything. It was even odder as I think Harada is a very talented fighter, and dont see much that he isnt talented in.

Personally, I dont think Harada was a big puncher but he was stinging.

No, not really anything glaring though you can always find some sort of fault in a fighter.

Thanks for the bump Al. I was hoping people would post about some fighters who really excelled in one style of fighting, or just a boxer who really earned his dough by the virtue of a particular style, if you get me. Ismael Laguna would be a great one.

I'm sure McGrain owes me a post (hint)

Great thread. My special request is Smokin' Joe Frazier. He had a very peculiar style to the eyes.

****. I do owe you a post. What was it meant to be on? I have a hangover...this month though. Or next month.

The interest on your debt has increased what you owe me significantly, you now owe me eight posts on this topic.

Nah, it was about breaking down the technical aspects that a fighter incorporated cohesively to master a certain style of fighting. You can be broad in the definition of your chosen style of fighting/boxing or you can be particular, it's entirely up to you. Just read the first post or some of the others when the hangover wears off man and you'll get an idea of what i mean. Thanks McGrain

What a great thread this was. On an ideal Classic forum this would be a legendary thread that would supercede all other discussions...
