Matchroom new signing?

He trains out in America with Hamzah Sheeraz. In terms of skill I don't see him above British level.

 

It must be his ability to sell tickets that is the reason for this signing. Have seen several of his fights and I am not blown away.

In regards to the Wood Lara card

 

Not been officially reported but makes sense since he’s been signed as a ticket seller and is from Bolton which is near Manchester. I presume he’d make his Matchroom debut on that card.

Matchroom seem to be targeting alot of the Probellum fighers-McGrail, McCorkmack, Sunny Edwards and Catterall.

Also with Josh Taylor fighting in the US and McGrail getting lined up to go also could they be moving for these fighers?

I'd like to see Warrington Dickens in the summer in Leeds. Assuming Warrington wins, the winner would face the winner of Wood Lara II at the back-end of the year. It would be better than Warrington undeservedly getting the winner without fighting beforehand.

yeah hes probably the typical usual english pakistani fighter. Pillow fisted (looking at his KO ratio), useless, a ticket seller, won't get to any respectable level, and a glass jaw waiting to happen.

its the same with loads of these bums like Aqib Fiaz, Mohammed Bilal Ali etc they are literally signed just cause they are ticket sellers

 

Within about a month Matchroom have signed Regis Prograis, Andy Cruz, Sunny Edwards, Jack Catterall, Justis Huni, plus a couple of British upcoming fighters in Majid and Shannon Ryan.

 

As much as I love to give Hearn stick sometimes, have to say very impressed with those signings!

Just checked Cruz record in and, he beat Keyshawn 4 times. Also fought Sean McComb and 2 current world champs
